ePSXe GT2 Screenshots

not when your particular copy of XP eats every available spot of memory, and distributes the remaining bits between all other programs. this comp has over 40 running processes at once, none of wich are smaller than a meg of memory. besides XP's own bits, there are several firewall, virus scanner and anti spyware programs here.

I did...that's all the barrier programs just FOR this comp. evetry week at LEAST, i have to run two anti spyware programs, dig up as many pop up blockers as possible, and go and gripe at mum because every page she looks at digs up 6 tons of spyware.

I just tossed something like thirty old video games from this thing. since this is an HP unit, all this HP crap comes with it and takes up memory...and probably is so interlinked to everything, that removing the tiniest component would cause a mega crash.

It looks about the same on my GeForce4 MX440, but it uses pretty much the same graphics engine as the GeForce2 MX ...

I doubt you'd see much improvement with newer cards considering it pretty much uses DirectX 6 graphics ...
well, here's a GeForce4 Ti 4200:

and here are some w/ my old 3dfx Voodoo 5:

There is a picture of a Escudo on my website, see signature.
Planning to do a large update, aswell as maybe a savefile with 100 race modded/road cars :sly:

Impreza STi
Besides, GT2 is not a ROM...
Sorry i asked but i no longer need someone to send it to me i tracked a copy down at one of the EB games locations like 30 minutes from my house so i am going to get it soon. and also you can make them as a "ROM" by copying the disk then sending the game files over :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) 💡 :)

McLaren F1GTR
Wow!
How can I get one!?
All of pete's downloads and documentation can be found here, however it may take a little reading and tweaking as it truly depends on your PC(especially your graphics card)

I'll post my settings for my 128MB ATI RADEON 9500 PRO for anyone who's interested :)

ah epsxe with gt2, that brings back some good memories (exactly 4 years ago when i got this pc that's now horribly dated). I'm wondering if these new plugins fix the graphics in terms of 'shakiness'; what i mean is that the graphics in gt2, like alot of other ps1 games feel like their models and worlds aren't solid as they sometimes 'shift'. Anyone know if it's fixed?

Noticebly improved, definitely more playable. like I said, a lot of reading the included documentation and tweaks to get it how you want it, or you could try the presets for the plugin :) I was impressed.

Excellent, time to fire up the good ol' days 👍

GAWD!!!!!!!! Those graphics seemed so good back then it was like a dream come true. AFTER PLAYING GT4 THEY LOOK LIKE SOMBODY THREW UP ON THE SCREEN.

I miss the racing mods so badly it hurts. GT2 is still the best.

Does anybody know which plugin I should use to run ePSXe on an IBM Thinkpad laptop running XP? I think the card is an S3 something but I will post the details later. Although GT2 runs fine it is a bit glitchy.

Sorry, not exactly sure about the S3 chipset, I would try Pete's soft GPU plugin w/ default settings first, then move to D3D w/ the "fast" preset and work from there :)

Right here are the details. The graphics card is an S3 Super Savage with 16MB and I am currently using Pete's D3D driver 1.76. As I said, it runs but the screens don't look as good as some of the shots posted in this thread. Any help?

If you're already using a good resolution (1024x768) and 32bits color, try using different texture settings in the plugin. But with a 16Mb card don't expect much...
My card is just a GeForce2 but has 64Mb.

EDIT: Also, try Pete's OpenGL plugin it might look better. ;)

can anyone help me i have espxe or something but when i installed it it is called delta. But whenever i hit run game (yes i have all the plugins including bios and rom file) itn opens to some weird file containing the game configuration i just made and thew other ps1 games. can anyone help me out with this?
