Just went over to Fly Racing's website(www.flyracing.com) and had a look @ the gloves that you were talking about. Those gloves look pretty good. Even in blue.;) Now if I can only figure out the correct size for it so that it can fit on my hand. I take L or XL, but their size chart is in numbers.:boggled: For the time being, I'll settle for a pair of gloves I was able to buy from The Home Depot. It's not too thick, but it's soft and has padding on the palms.:sly:

Hey CAM,

The gloves come in a few different colors - red/black, blue/black, grey/black, etc and their web site has a sizing chart with instructions on how to correctly size your hand. If I remember, you need to measure the width of your index and middle fingers combined and then find that measurement on their chart. Keep in mind, the gloves stretch a bit.

Say, ERacer - can you hear the game thru the helmet. I use a headset so my kids don't hear the game when I play. They make speakers for helmets. Amazon has them for $29.

nice set up :) really looks fun to be in

u even got the helmet and all :P. maybe i should buy the helmet that STIG uses in TOP gear :)

well this is my setup... along with some gloves :) its sooo crappy :(

Thanks Jag! Yeah, I kinda went a bit overboard with all the gear, but I feel it's all about the racing simulation, right?

You've got a good start there with your setup. I'm curious - is that table stable enough? You might try to build a rectangular frame as a base and secure the legs to that and then, at some point, get a chair and attach that to the frame. I'm sure you've seen that type of design posted here.

Keep us posted on your setup. 👍

Cool looking rig!!!

I couldn't help but to notice your shoes. What kind of shoes are they and how much do they cost? As of late, the bottom of my feet have not been too pleased while racing in socks ;) I put some house shoes on today and I had an issue with the left foot (brake) getting hung up on the clutch if my foot had slipped off a bit. So, I'm looking for shoes that are comfy, firm bottom (I suppose) and a grippy bottom. There is no traction on those G25 pedals :(

The shoes are Adidas Mat Hog Shoes. Wresting shoes. Very light weight and breathable mesh makes for a very comfortable shoe. Great grip too. Got them on Amazon and very pleased.

Looking into them, thanks a bunch!

They pretty much form to your foot, not much larger than wearing socks? My concern is having my foot getting hung up on the clutch pedal as with my house slippers or with regular running shoes.
