I checked on my PSN account online and was able to connect to PSN with no problem. It is PD having a problem most likely an overload of the servers due to the Christmas holiday world wide. Hoping this does get fixed.

On the bottom of my main screen it says, ;You are currently not connected to the internet. Maintenance And Issues;. So it's really no surprise we're getting error codes. Maybe they are freshening up the servers so there are no problems over Christmas.

I just did some Xmas scapes pics and a simple livery. Adding this to offline was a welcome addition, even if you can't use all your decals. Now I'm going to play some GT League. It's not like you can't use the game when it's offline, it's how you choose to play it. Any progress you make playing offline can be saved when the servers come back. I used to put my PS4 in rest mode when the game was first releashed and the servers were crashing more frequently.

Hello guys,

I am currently having a error code when signing into GT Sport mode. One day when I started the system up I had gained a whooping $392,000,000 dollars and when I spend that money it doesn't even deduct anything but I can buy anything. At first, it was cool to have unlimited money but I am noticing more errors.

It is linked this my PSN as I have gone through troubleshooting tasks and when I sign into a second account I am able to sign in and I am not stuck at $392 Million.

I've been in contact with Sony, who couldnt fix the problem and didnt have any notes on this error code, but they suggest contacting PolyPhoney. Which is impossible.

Anyone else had this issues? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Having the same problem came here to find answers but I guess not, damn

Do you happen to have a online storage or recent USB save backup ?.
These automated online cloud backups have their virtues, but in situations like this they lose their value.

Unless it's a manual transfer from a day or 2 ago (or later), a cloud backup will only hold the latest corrupt save.
(True or false? I have no proof, and I'm not willing to test it, but it seems logical to me)
USB saves rule the day.

I always do it for just this reason.
USB save copy - not religiously, like every day, but once every few days where it won't kill me if I lose a little progress.

No to both
Sorry mate, I thought @fordlaser might go forward from here.
What he is suggesting is that some (not all) have found a solution by uploading an old save point.

At the end of the day, to the best we know, the issue is related to a corrupt save file.
So you have 3 options.
1: Delete the console save and replace it with an earlier (uncorrupted) version.
2: Delete the console save and allow the PD servers to re-download it's latest version of your save (and cross fingers)
3: Delete the console save and essentially start again, but hopefully maintain your DR/SR ratings, but all else is lost.

Some have reported that simply closing the Debug menu has worked.
But as it seems with this bug, peoples experiences with what works and what doesn't varies.

I do a manual backup save to the online storage every time I close down GTS on my PS4, before I close down GTS I always make sure that the game looks correct and nothing is missing or I have 393 million or something, so if I get any thing like a debug corrupt file I will always have my backup save.

Yep, sounds fair/logical.

The only thing I like to do is have a save a few days old.
Just incase I wake up and it's all gone bad, and the backup I did yesterday is no different.
So I tend to bounce between cloud and USB.

At the end of the day it's incredibly rare these issues happen.
But sometimes a little paranoia is a good thing.

And it is better to be safe than sorry.

Thank alot it's been 2 months since I played sport mode

When is SONY going to FIX! They keep saying that they don't have any information about this error code (E-8055A800) Sport mode is down since December 22nd 2017.:grumpy::banghead:

Today's update fixed my $393 million dollar problem. it reset my money back to 2 mill but I still can't play sport mode, I'm getting the same error code. Anybody else having this issue?

Wow! unbelievable you still can't play sport mode. The patch fixed the money part of course but the the most important aspect for users of the game with this error. I still have my corrupted data backed up on a USB since last December with 110 cars and up to level 35 about.
Since then I restarted and I am back to level 31 with much few cars. about 63.

I don't want to take the chance of reinstalling my old data and then only to realize that nothing was corrected. I will wait to hear more on this from here.
Thanks Gr8Black for your comments.

I don't suppose you have tried rewatching the sport mode etiquette videos? I doubt it will help, just an idea.
Also logging out of PSN and logging back on again with your password, I think I read that, fixing some other connection issue.
