Last night I tried to save my B500 tune for my Chevrolet Camaro that I received as a gift from importing my FM3 file. It have me a message saying my save file was corrupt and to delete it from the dashboard. WTF is this?

I have heard about all of this so called cheating with credits getting some accounts flagged. Yet I have not done any online trading and the only item I have bought was a logo for the FPM car club.

I am not too worried as I have not seen the message anywhere else, but I would like to be able to save my settings. I will admit, I have not tried to save any settings on any other cars as of yet to test but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem?

If you get the file corrup error then go to the dashboard and to your memory. Then pick Forza 4 and delete ONLY the corrupt tune. Do NOT delete your save file. Only the corrupt tune. It should say "corrup" or something like that.

Yup this happened to me to and I don't remember even saving a tune before it happened. I just deleted the corrupt file and the problem was fixed.

The first time I had this error message in F4 was after I purchased a design from the storefront. Keep in mind I had a save file corruption happen to me in TDU2 and I lost 60 hours and 1 entire week of gameplay. I also had this happen to me in TDU1 and lost 20 hours. So when I saw this message in F4 I about crapped my pants!!!!!!! :scared::scared::scared:

Luckily it was nothing but I tell you I was way beyond sweating. :scared:

This I think needs to be patched. It's happened to way to many people, and it seems really common on tunes.

I just had this happen to me as well.I'm glad I searched this topic before I went any further. Now I know what to do.

same happened to me last night. As I tried to save a tune I've done I got that error message. The problem is I haven't saved or loaded any own or SF tune

Can you tell which file have you deleted? I guess it is the savegame file?

EDIT: Found this at fm.net which should explain it all
