Round 2 recieved the most votes. So Apmaddock gets to pick a new combo to replace it.

Rounds 3 had second most, so jlbowler would get the pick, but he decided to pass on his selection since he won't be able to race this week, so the pick for prize B goes to QwietStorm03

Thanks to everyone who showed up and raced!

Hmm… I thought hard about doing a race with 205PP, but not this time.

Let's roll with 374PP Race Cars at Cape Ring South.

Ridiculous grip, anyone?

(I realize this is very similar to the last week's round one, but I want to do it. ;) )

Sorry, I wasn't watching this thread so I did not know I had won a prize. Let's change Twin Ring Motegi Superspeedway with Indianapolis Motor Speedway (oval).

Ok thanks Qwiet. I will update the combos late as I have to go to calculus class now :yuck:

Hmm…

Let's roll with 374PP Race Cars at Cape Ring South.

374 PP Race cars? Can anyone give examples of what cars fit this criteria?

Right now I only have 1 vintage race car and the Spoon FIT Race Car under 375.

Are these also going with Racing Hard?

Are there any others?:scared:

380 PP FF Street Cars (Sports Hard)
Special Stage 5/Reverse, TBD Laps

460 PP 4WD Street Cars (Sports Medium)
Road Course Indy, 6 Laps

600 PP GT Class LM Race Cars (Racing Hard)
Twin Ring Motegi Superspeedway, TBD laps

There are two VW Cup cars that would fit and a classic Honda S### Race Car from the 60s. That may be it. They would be on Racing Hard.

I found the Lupo fits by limiting the Engine. so I have 3 that fit this Spec.
👍
Should be a fun close one.

IF anyone needs a car let me know early enough and I can dupe it for someone. I am working from home so I can do this early.

Spoon Fit Race Car
VW Lupo Cup
Vintage Mitsu Lancer

I think Indy will produce some close racing. I hate the closed radius end of oval at Motegi. I didn't want to pick a tight super technical track with those cars because they are quite the handful.

That's what makes them fun…

Unfortunately I don't know if I'll be able to make much of this. Busy guy. Long night.

Have fun!

I'll be in shortly. Checking my 2nd account for a race car that fits. I know I have the Honda at the very least there.

EDIT: Sub Account or my storeroom has 2 Honda racers and 3 Cup cars! 👍

EDIT II: Best of luck for the remainder of the evening guys. I need to study up on how to defend against cars that change lines entering and leaving corners, but first to find an excellent teacher...

The Lancer off the line was hilarious, so much quicker than the others

It reminded me of the Lancia Stratus at CoteDAzur.
I thought we were going to have a close race in the 2nd race.

I like this configuration of Cape Ring, I don't think I've even run it before.

BTW,
I cannot express that while I had a lot of fun at Special Stage 5, there was excessive bumping on both races. I don't think any of it was intentional at all, but it got ugly at times at 1 turn.

I was also surprised as how fast the LM Jaguar was last night, for a 450HP car that thing flies!

I watched that last FF race and there was a lot of bumping. Some of it was definitely caused by people being trying a bit to hard and going a bit beyond the limits of the car. With such a variety of cars in close proximity I am not too surprised . However I think that if people had focused simply on waiting for opportunities to pass the car in front of them rather than trying to win the race there would have been less contact.

The jag was great as long as I was in the draft. Without the draft it felt like it was hitting a brick wall at 180. What were the other cars roping out at?

It has been. Tez hasn't got back to me either. I'm not gonna be able to make it in time for the start of the night cause I've got tons of physics to do. Can someone else run the show until I can get there?

We'll just leave round 2 the same for simplicity's sake, unless Tezgm posts here in the next 13 minutes.

Hey, racing is better than Math!

But what came first? racing or Math ? Hmmmmm :ouch::ouch:

My head hurts just to think of physics now!

Ok guys, were gonna give the same combos for round 1 and 3 another try this week since the attendance was so low last time.

However, for round 2 we are still waiting on a pick from Tezgm99.

Tez, please make your pick as soon as possible, thanks.

Right, I'm going to mix it up a bit as I'm not sure any S.N.A.I.L. race has been weather affected :sly:

New track - High Speed Ring/Weather Change (100% weather and water, 0 changeability).

FWD will make it easier to keep it together compared to RWD, but it'll still be slippery enough to run wide and have someone nip up the inside and, hopefully, the front straight is long enough to make for a close finish :)

Rough laptimes will probably be 1:38's or thereabouts so 6 or 7 laps.
