thers a cure, press the "O" button (hand brake) for a half sec. then itll stop spinning. and if you want to turn with the whilie settings you can drift instead of turning by pressing "O".
 
I've never driven an Escudo.

I was confused about this thread at first. But now I get it. You're basically asking us "is it helpful to use the handbrake to try and get around turbo-lag?" right?

in GT yes, IRL probably not, i think it'd be too stupid looking to mess around witht the handbrake after every gear..
 
I have gotten around the speed lag when starting by revving my car past it before the race starts. then you will start off faster contrary to popular belief that you dont. this only works with this car tho
