Whenever i used run off areas, i lost time. :/

Also, Chris you lucky ****! Take me with you! <3

And i completely don't agree with the changes at all. You've completely changed it mid season which renders everything we've done uptil now pointless! Should just wait till this season is over and then make the changes. You've made it far too complicated now and i'll refuse to finish the season until season 2 if it carrys on. I'm enjoying the series, but all this constant changing is ruining it. I struggle with time to practice as it is, nevermind all this changing cars, teams and whatever else.

Wait until season 2!!!

What has exactly changed so far. You have had the same car
and known which track from race 1 to race 5. Don´t blame
me if You don´t get the time to practice.

I´m talking of a SERIE where theres ONLY committed drivers,
that will find their time if they are interrested enough.

Most important thing isn´t for me if we are 14 or 28 drivers,
if all would be committed and would respect each other.👍

I could easily do the management of 42 drivers, IF all of them
would be so interrested, that they would for ex. read the thread daily, and I don´t have to PM people here if they are
goin to drive, because they have been so silent.

It doesn´t need more than every now and then a post in the
thread that "HI!, I´m alive"....:dopey:

I wish we could keep the series on thursdays. Its the most fun I have all week :(. Don't ruin this plz...

Well im off to get wasted! Im going to celebrate last nights great race... :dopey:

CHEERS!!!

I wish we could keep the series on thursdays. Its the most fun I have all week :(. Don't ruin this plz...

It stays on Thursday, thats for sure.
Everyone knows already pretty much the tracks by now,
so theres no need to practice that much anymore.
Thats why instead of practicing on Monday, we could race.

I just want twice a week feel the adrenaline running, thats
why I would like to race twice.

But of course, thats only goin to work if people would respect
each other so much, that the incidents could be seen as race
incidents.....because NO WAY i´m going to watch any replays
twice a week. I just want to RACE.👍

I´m not doing anything else with GT5 anymore, but drive
for this serie. Of course the Total Drama, but that doesn´t
count, cause i´m not practicing it, just drive.

I understand if Drivers here, that are in many series could
have a problem. Thats here, where You must make a choice.
Want to do 50% in many series or 100% in 1.
I think every Guy that arrange these kind of series would be happy to have only committed drivers.

I´m only doing this for the kick the RACE gives me. I´m
happy that it have been this big so far, but there comes
negative things also with many drivers, as You have seen.

And remember, Whatever I do, theres always people who
wants it the other way.:)👍

I hope your gf´s, wifes or mom´s could understand that
this is Your hobby. They play football and hockey games three times a week also just to mention a few...

I have myself wife+3 kids, and they understand that daddy
isn´t a punkrock star anymore, hes a racedriver nowadays.:dopey:👍

In other words "if you don't like it, **** off". You go on about wanting commited drivers and close, fun racing, but everytime you change something, and we complain, you just give us this selfish attitude.

I don't find it fun to have everything changing mid season. I get that first season won't be perfect, but we should learn some lessons from this and then make all the changes for season 2 when we've all started afresh. Constantly changing things mid way is stupid and confusing. You've changed pretty much everything, the cars, the PP, the days of the race, the teams. You might aswell scrap everything we've done so far if you're going to change that many things.

How can commited drivers take you and this series seriously if you just mess them around and give them a poor attitude everytime they give an opinion you don't like. As for my dedication, i'm committing all my free time off from work, to practice for this, which i'm not happy about, but i love racing too much to give it up. But i can't dedicate to a series i can't take seriously when the organiser is constantly changing everything. It's a joke.

I don't mind changes, but you can't just suddenly introduce them. All i ask for is compromise and advanced notice (and no, a less than a week isn't enough).

Its just this easy.
I arrange this serie the way I like. Now we have 28 drivers
that seems to like my rules. If I want to change something
to make it in my opinion a better serie, people have again
a choice, join or leave. Im searching for a serie where we
don´t have to watch replays afterwards. There, its a MUST
to respect others....Its easier just to kick dirty drivers, than watch these replays week after week.

If I want to RACE twice a week, I search again for drivers
that would be committed for it. I´m not doing this because
some guys like it in a certain way.

Yeah, in every way we could call the 1st season Finished.
Congrats to Peltonen, Johan and Bigadz.

So no one needs to cry about some changes. The cars are
listed above and next track is Grand Valley Speedway.
Points goes from zero again.

So far, next race is next Thursday.👍

leave the series as is for now eppe......i too would struggle with mondays.

ok mayb 10 races with 2 pre races n a Q session @ suzuka is a bit long..... 6/7 races with no Q would b better....

for season 2, ppl just pick the cars they want as before n everythin else also stays the same.....(except pp reductions for lead drivers) divisions is a good idea but only for season 2.

i dont mind restarting the season....with everythin set for the for the whole season

Heres my view:

1st season is almost a test season, it is good for ironing out little problems that might occur, e.g. PP settings.
I think you should stick to your idea of moving the PP settings after half way (from now on) to see what they are like for the 2nd half of season.

All this pick new cars and new team mates i think is a panic decision, i think the race went quite well in Group 1, i didnt seem to have too much FPS problems as most of you are saying, i think it happens a few times but only lasted for a few seconds.

Also we get to learn how people drive as the season goes on, who lets you can room/who doesnt, who you can push to make mistakes etc etc etc so season 2 should be quite clean. The other series im in we all know how everyone drives and the penalties after the race have droped dramaticly (last race no penalties, compared to 1st race i was watching replay over and over)

Oh also 2 days will be tough for some people e.g. work other series etc

I hope i making some sense and not talking out of my arse lol
i think thats all i need to say :sly:

Eppe, that's a poor and selfish attitude, you can't make a series that solely revolves around you, you must make compromises, otherwise no one will want to race with you.

I'm happy to help as a steward to help take the work load off you. I have a HD recording device so i can upload the footage for all the stewards to see. This saves them time having to go through the whole replay themselves.

You can't just kick drivers just because you feel like it, we've all got alot to learn about each other. We all just need more practice racing each other and knowing each others abilities. Some drivers are more aggressive than others, and we all drive differently. But accidents happen, and as long as we learn from them, then things will hopefully improve. This is my first time in a close race series, so i've got alot of learn, and i'm sure others have aswell.

You need to sort your attitude out. If you want help, ask for it, i don't mind helping. Because i like to compromise.

Edit: Also what Paginas, i see this series as just a test series too.

👍 i just agree, awesome opinions.👍 And that's why i didnt make protest against ppl who made wrong against me,i accused them personally and told them what they did wrong and i just have to hope thay learn from that.

I don't see what the problem of starting a new season including some more guys and racing twice a week :dopey:. If you all agree this was a test season then why not end it a bit sooner and get on with the real thing? What's your specific problem with that? 2 races per week?

At 613 PP my GTR Stealth only has 486 bhp, although its only 500cr to do a engine rebuild and body rigidity restore :)

although the Torque level is 68.3 and it's 50kg lighter

Excuse me for jumping in as an outsider but i've been tracking this series since the start as 4 of my friends compete and was interested in how they were doing and maybe fancied joining one of the future seasons myself.
I think this series is really good with obviously some great, committed drivers.
Everyone has took it seriously and it sounds like it has been fun to participate in.
But i cant understand how you can change a major thing like the amount of nights it is run on and expect people to like it or leave.
This series has some real dedicated drivers who are testing cars for the best PP, doing hundreds of laps to just find that extra 100th of a second and spending hours tweaking there car setups to get that little bit more from the car.
That to me is commitment.
If i was in the series i'd only be able to do one night as i have family/kids, play football and have a social life and i'd find time to fit in a night to compete in a series.
How many people do you think would be contacting each week to say they couldnt attend one of the 2 nights??
Like people have said above, learn from this first season change the PP's and other stuff but leave it at one night were your already loyal drivers can still come and race.
If you want to change something why not have a sprint race of 8 laps then a main race of 20 laps for example?

I think it won´t get more.👍 Mine engine should be broke-in.

It's done nearly 1000miles so it should be broken in, I haven't tested it yet but I just love the look of it, I'll also try the NSX :)

The NSX felt better actually when I tested on Nurb...weird,
cause I have hated NSX from day 1....I think the Stealth
GT-R only will be good on tricky tracks like Deep F.

The NSX is running 520BHP at 607pp with Aero up full, could be a beast....

I also dislike it mainly as I can't find a good setup for it, I just love the sound of it though!

Agreed, i don't see why we don't just introduce all these new rules when we start a new season. I don't mind cutting this one short.

I think the main problem is 2 nights aweek is too much for some people, especially 2 weekdays. Perhaps if we make one of those days a weekend day, maybe it might help? Or put up a poll to see when people are free and base the new dates around that.

But for me, i don't see much of an issue with 1 day per week. There's no rush to finish the series and it gives everyone plenty of time to practice. Afterall, if you want commited drivers who'll practice to make the races better, you need to give them time. Everyone has different work hours and other commitments.

eppe ure so lazy and just give penalty to me coz i used run off areas you rlly need too look to others too fat boy , and also you just gave me penalty coz johnkiller2 said that , (Race Steward) , gratz chris with youre second place , eppe u dont deserve a podium

Edit : eppe if you cant save youre tyres than you are a awful driver it hasn't to do with run off areas BUT COULD you imagine that if you drive with very worn tyres like i did THAT you MUST go wide otherwise oversteer too left and right TA-DA YOU SPIN.... and i didnt use it i just did it slightly you should look at the others FKIN LAZY Bastard.

I hope someone already reported him to moderators! If not I will...

IMO all the NSX´s are beasts if someone could tame them...I can´t...At the moment my choice would be Lexus Denso,Motul or Stealth GT-R.....

Would anyone be willing to post or PM me there Nurb NSX setup?

also as a thought eppe, If people need/want to report a race incident why don't you make it so they have to record/take pics of it so you and the other guys don't have to sit through hours of watching the race again? also only watch the replay if you really need to (thanks PD for not putting fast forward or rewind in)
