Tuning prohibited will mean no competitors in the R8 LMS due to its base handling flaws and an uncompetitive GT-R GT3. Also the R8 has 3 different specs, the Phoenix car has much more DF than the regular car. You should balance the car entries for maximum enjoyment. And for comparison, official GT3 cars allow race spec traction control. Why disallow a real aid that gains no time in GT6?

The series sounds interesting, but I can't commit to it.

Didn't realise that the GT3 cars are so unequal. Maybe it would be best to adjust a PP limit?
Sorry about TCS, false of habit just most online race it's usually off so will change that as well :)

It's fine you can't commit, thanks for just showing your interest :D

If you dont balance cars the BMW would be too fast, nothing can keep with it. If you like learn from what we done in WGTC, link is in my sig 👍

Standard=
R8: undriveable
GT-R: driveable but uncompetetive
SLS: best balance but too heavy to keep with Z4
Z4: light and great to drive and will be dominant if not made heavier.

As I say have a look over my thread to see what mistakes we made in balancing our cars :tup;

Running my own series means no time to commit but best of luck and hope this helps 👍

Sounds interesting, but unequal cars, as said above, and for me 200 miles is a lot for one race, too long...
You say "tyre wear on." Which one? Normal, fast or very fast?

100% agree with P1K3Y, you can also have a look at our series, even with the same weight (all cars at 1390kg), the GTR need 710bhp to keep up with the Z4/SLS @ 640bhp. The R8 will not be undriveable stock.

You are welcome to join us for some testings on Tue and Thu testing to find out more.

Same as P1K3Y, I have no more time to take part in another series, good luck!

hmmmm, I see what you mean now :/
Will have a look at the WGTC and see what I can learn from you guys :)

That's understandable, about being busy but cheers for the help, really appreciate it :)

We can shorten the races if needed :) Maybe 100 mile if it suits you?
And the tyre wear would probably be on Normal

My goodness, they are unequal then :embarrassed:

That would be cool if I can join in the testing, it will help learning from the testing and WGTC.
Cheers for the help :D

Just send a FR to m1racing on PSN and we will see you on tue.

Sorry for late replays, some moron blocks GTPlanet at my work. I'm adding you as PSN friend right now, JornLande666. ;)

100 miles sounds much better, that'll mean cca 1 hour races, that's cool ;)

Also I'd set the tyre / fuel depletion to fast as fast = 80 km (50 miles) on one tank of fuel, so it'll force to do at least on pit stop. ;)

As for car balancing: GT6 misses one for me very important option. It allows you to set tuning to no limit, meaning you can do everything with your car (tune the suspension, adjust the downforce, upgrade the engine) or to prohibitted meaning you cannot do anything, not even adjust the downforce. I'd personally like adjusting downforce and suspension, but no turbos and engine tunings. This, unfortunatelly, cannot be done.

Anyway you might guess which car I'd like to run in. ;) :D

Don't worry, should be good to have you aboard :)

Glad you prefer the 100miles idea, and yeah approx. 1 hour

Ok makes sense, though I can put in the rules (& on the race) that there must be 1 mandatory pit stop.

Noticed that when doing the first test race, it's an awkward one as I have run single make races.

let me guess... the GTR? ;)

Weight will be changed for 1380kg each car.
Hp TBD

OK, I'll try to do some testing when I get to it, which will probably be sometimes next week as I have plans for this weekend and in the little free time I need to practise for GT300 championship. ;)

That's fine, if you can test that will be brilliant but I understand you need your practice :)
I just want to set the hp so that when don't need to add a turbo etc

I am happy to announce that we now have sorted the car regulations to the nearest .1s.
This means, all that needs to be sorted is dates to race these and drivers.

PLEASE SIGN UP/POST WHEN YOU BELIEVE WE SHOULD RACE :D

I can't commit to every round but I am interested in this

PSN ID Gadget333
'Team Motion Blur'
Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 - Yellow

Lol since everyone is gunning for the Z4 i will switch to the Nissan GTR team car
