Welcome to the Annual Event hosted and organized by resident GTPlanet Member m8h3r. This year we will travel to locations such as Spa and The Nurburgring. Several events have been set all across Europe as we make our way from England to Germany and everywhere in between. This trip is open for anyone with a passion for cars and a love for great tracks, scenery and heritage.

This event is taking place on Wednesday 26th March 2014. From 19:00GMT - 22:00GMT. Anyone from the world is allowed to join not just Europeans!

Our first stop is at Silverstone where you get a chance to stretch your legs and warm them engines up with a free run around the sweeping British Circuit.

We then hope the channel on a ferry to the second event which takes place at Cote D’Azure. Here you will be provided with a Rocket Car with Sports Soft Socks and set loose on the streets of Monaco to set the best lap you can. It will be a 15 minute timed session with the aim to set the fastest lap in an stock Rocket car on level ground with everyone else. This will be run using the new “Qualifying system” added to GT6. It will last 15 minutes, then the race will start, in which you should just leave the track. The winner will be dubbed “Quickest Hot-lapper” in the Honourable Mentions at the bottom of the OP.

Third stop on our list is down in Spain as we have a crack at the newly introduced Ascari. This like Silverstone is another free run event to have a break after the hot lapping around Cote D’Azure. This is a good place to take any car to the limit with the technical layout of the Spanish track.

Fourth stop of the day is at the fast track in Italy known as Monza. This will not only be a fast track with a brutal wheel to wheel race but the added challenge of rain at 50% track and weather for the start of the 7 lap race. There will be a quick free run before the race to adjust to the different feel of a wet track then door to door we go.

We’ll then pop into Germany on our way to the sixth and the “Green Hell” more commonly known as The Nurburgring. Here will not be a race but a perfect chance to take some photos as we cruise the track in a pack as the sun sets in the background. Be sure to bring your camera and flashiest car.

Last stop will be late in the day as it goes from dusk to dark at the terrifying Spa De Francorchamps. The time will be roughly 22:00 by the time we get there with the time set to 5. You can be sure to end your day flying through Eau Rouge in the pitch black with only the steering wheel and seat of your pants to hold on to.

Notes

You will need to bring a Stock Rocket Car with Sports Soft tyres and a car with 560pp or less for the race.

Only European Manufacturers are allowed, so cars made within Europe.

You can only have a maximum of Two cars for the trip (not including Rocket Car)

All aids except TCS and ABS are banned for the event. TCS will be banned for the race/time trial.

You can have free choice on tyres up to Sports Soft during the event. (Rain tyres are allowed for Monza if you wish)

Clean driving will be expected for the race and time trial as these are expensive cars.

To join comment on the thread or DM me personally with "GTP name/PSN Name/Car 1/Car 2" for Example "m8h3r/m8h3r/Ferrari 458/BMW M5"

For a second I thought you meant a real one , anyway I may aswell come along. Haven't been on GT6 in over a month, still waiting on the community patch/update. As I want to keep using my GTP_ for racing but cba grinding for cars :P...

Anyway I assume Monza is Rockets also and I'll get back to you on cars, one may well be a Scirocco though.

Yeah I was in two minds on wether to use the Rockets at Monza or not. Think I will do now though.

If you know anyone else who would like this then send them an invite. Maybe the guys from the good old days of PTRA?

I know I should probably know what the PTRA is but I can't remember :P.

I'm just going to jump on GT6 and see what I want to pick and this may be a stupid question but how long are the free run sessions at Ascari and Silverstone?

Edit: OT but this shows how long I have been away, only updating to 1.05 now . (And there is 2 updates going on so I am jumping an update lol.)

Hey mate,

How are you?
Sorry I cannot participate in this event. I have visitors that evening so it wouldn't be nice to do a european tour.

Maybe next time (although, I haven't played GT6 for a couple of weeks now)

Cheers,

Out

Decided on my cars are they are a VW Scirocco R '10 and a Ferrari GTO '84. 👍

Was scrolling my list of cars and it jumped out at me as it was a car I loved in TDU. (That was the 288 GTO though but close enough)

Events should be about around 30 minutes each, but with Monaco at only 15-20 minutes then it would leave a few minute spare at others.

Nice cars picks guys.

Too bad I'm not available March 26th.

I'd bring the Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package and the Aston Martin One-77.

Unfortunately we only had 5 participants this time, however it still produced some fun.

The Event at Monaco was won by PaulMac2K9, Well done. The matching of the Rocket car and Monaco produced some great driving.

The race at Monza was hampered by Disconnections, meaning only 4 racers, then 3, and the track not letting me set 50% wet. It would either jump to 100% or 0% in a matter of seconds. So we ended up doing a 5 lap 100% race in which I lost, dreadfully, Mattie took the win, followed home by JohnWells.

Thanks for coming guys and keep an eye out for Japan (hint).
