I don't know what it is, but my previously perfected Takata Dome, is now garbage. I'm not happy.

Noooooo!!!!! Not the Takata!!! Though your idea of garbage is still somewhat acceptable to quite a lot of people. It may be the increased drag from the downforce settings taking a toll on it?

Still, glad you're still at it, even now.

Seems as if you had removed the pic, but wasn't it quite similar to geebaby/praiano's tune? His one is still working, I drove it recently.

Picture is still there for me. But for whatever reason the front end now has so much grip, the rear end just snaps loose. I'm assuming it has to do with the downforce change... or ride height change... I don't know, but I have a league race coming up soon where I need it to be ready, so we'll see.

The one in the shootout forum gives me a 403 error.
Didn't check your garage, my bad.

EDIT: I checked your takata tune from your garage (I didn't drive, I only looked at it):
It's not the downforce, it must be the toe number or the relatively high ride height. Raise rear toe by a bit, e.g 0.15 and lower front and rear equally by about 15. I'd also try an equal height like -10/-10, because it somehow feels best that way since the update.
With wheel I simply feel much more comfortable if the car is a bit lower, just take sure that it's not too low. My weider HSV is running a ride height between -10/-10 and -14/-14, always with the same numbers for front and rear.

Is there anything that we, the tuners, can do to help you, the databaser?
(Mainly just looking for an excuse to bump this thread, but might as well do it constructively.)

The thread is a sticky, therefore bumping it is absolute nonsense...

:odd:

Some may have noticed, today was a busy one for GT5Tune. While I'm still not up to date with the most recent tunes, I spent some time cleaning up the website quite a bit. There are now 2 navigation gadgets in the sidebar. Both are rather self explanatory, but the original is now listed as "Specialty" and will lead you to the Drag/Drift/Wheelie/RM/Replica/DLC/Gymkhana pages. And I've added a 'home' option as well, which takes you back to the main page, but the main link in the top left corner still functions the same way, just as it always has.

The second, listed as "Restrictions" now contains all of the pre-determined Online Lobby room restrictions available, such as GT500, NASCAR and today I added the following pages, to finish the GT5 list:
Ferrari Road Cars, Lamborghini Road Cars, GT300, Japanese K Cars, Le Mans Prototypes, Modern Rally Cars and Vintage Muscle Cars.

All text fonts and/or colors have been adjusted, to make the sight appear cleaner, and a new background image is being used.

As always, feedback is welcome, both good and bad. Still looking for a dedicated Reviewer/tester who's interested in being featured on the site regularly.

I like it. It makes it very easy to define your search and fine the car you're looking for. Nicely done.

P.s. sorry again for not keeping up with sending the garages tunes. Busy. But I know you understand. Thanks :dopey:

All independent threads up to today's date have been included. Still need to do the garages... avoiding the inevitable. :(

Don't do mine just yet...
I'm going to sort all my JGTS cars so each has only one post for multiple versions, so it'll become many less links than it currently is.

That way it'll just be one link for each car, instead of..you know.

Continually working to improve the site. There is now a new 'landing page'. This will be the new home page of the website. It will include the base information and over time I will try to transfer it into a nice looking page, that informs people of what's going on.

In it's current state, I tried to lay everything out as simple as I could during the transition period. Next Monday all of the help text will be gone, and I'll clean up the site.

Welcome to the new site layout!

So you link me to an entire thread? Be more specific.

Added the 3 drift tunes, because they're accurately labeled.
If you want the 'replica' tunes included, you'll have to point out which ones they are with relevant links.

PM sent with info 👍
Sorry post was put in a hurry as mentioned in PM

WOW!!! Adrenaline, I just was looking and you have been busy. Thanks you very VERY VERY much for adding all of our tunes 👍. You are a forever friend to the tuning community for all your work and we will be forever in your debt. Anything I can do to help you, just ask.

Thanks Again :dopey:

After some pondering I decided most of my tunes are outdated anyway, so since it'll be easier for both of us like I'll just leave everything in my garage as it stands.

I think my lovely car not yet added :(
Toyota 2000GT '67
Thank you Sir for this great work 👍

You can't update posts with tunes after the fact. I can only see them as a 'new' post once. If there is no tune there, then it's skimmed over, and I never see any 'edit', 'update', etc. I tried to do it with your Trial Celica, where you said you were going to update it later on, but then you just made a new post and I had to do it twice.

So, please, for future reference, don't post a tune until it's ready to be posted in full. No half and halfs, no reserved posts, no ninja edits.

Added the 2000gt.

@krenkeme, thanks.
@CSL, I'll work on your thread once I can set aside a few hours.
@CargoRat, I assume you changed your mind about the seasonal events?
