Yes, I do. The 2004 VW R32 sold only in the US for ONLY one year. It was a kick ass car, but I'm talking about the NEW MKV R32... Being that the new MKV Golf isnt even here yet, were a long way from ever getting the R32, assuming of course that we do.

Okay. It's just that some people seem to think that we never got the R32...

Anyway...

Automobile Magazine
Like the old VW Golf R32, this new version has 4Motion all-wheel drive. The 3.2-liter V-6 in the R32 makes 247 hp and is mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a DSG dual-clutch manu-matic. VW claims a top speed of 155 mph, and a 0-to-62-mph time of 6.5 seconds for the manual and 6.2 seconds for the DSG-equipped car. The car looks the part, with eighteen-inch wheels and tires and a subtle body kit, while the interior gets aggressive sport seats and aluminum-faced pedals. If this model makes it here, it will arrive in 2007 as an '08 model. It will likely be badged R36--thanks to the new 3.6-liter V-6 from the Passat--and have between 280 and 300 hp. Since VW sold 5000 of the previous generation R32s with little or no marketing effort, the company is keen to bring the updated version to the U.S. in 2007 as an '08 model.

Geneva News Update

Cars from Audi at geneva will be:

Allroad
RS4 Avant
RS4 Cabriolet
And one concept.

Im a bit dissapointed. Hopefully will see some more new cars from audi at the paris motorshow.

...Well, we wont be getting the RS4 Avant in the US anytime soon...

And neither will you get the cabriolet. But if it sells real good in europe you never know they might change their minds.

Well, we had the last S4 Cabriolet when they said we would never get it. Depends on how many people go to the dealers and complain about it...

Am I the only one who really doesn't care for the RS4 cabrio? I don't mind the S4 model, but the RS versions should stick to just sedan and wagon, imo.

There's an RS6 around my area, which is really neat considering only about 100 made it to Canada, but it's disappointing the wagons aren't more desired over here.

Are you sure that's not just a pic of the Nuvolari concept, since that's the name on the plate.

Caffine is good, caffine is definitely good . Besides upon further inspection even though that is the Nuvolari concept I don't think it's far off from how the A5 will look.

It was on the first page of carscoop, which is usually a great place for new pictures... but that was from the annual Audi report / press conference, which I should have noticed, and that was also the first time I see the Nuvolari from that angle. Still beatiful, and indeed I hope it'll look as close as possible to this.

Mmmh. Coffee.
