I have $150,000 after completing the beginner championship with my 510 HP MR2 GT-S. My MR2 drifts great, but its now time for a new car to drift with. What car would you choose? i'm more on the Evo 6 tommi maiken rather than WRX STI. Leave some comments on how each drift. Thanks, oyeah, i'm new here, but not to the game. Hope to hear from everyone.

get a 22B......look alot better in the drift and more fun to drive....save the TME for later, it takes more power to break traction...not as fun

We'll, each cost under 40,000, some 30,000, and i do have enough for stage 3 turbo. Do you think i should get the TME or the 22B???

buy and send pics!!!

I say buy the Evo VI T.M.E.

In stock form, the STi has suicidal understeer when drifting. It will run itself straight off the road 3/4th's through the drift. Also, you don't need to spend so much on a drift car. All 30 of my cars but 3 or 4 are 100% stock and drift just fine.

Go for the Evo VI TME because the WRX STi understeers, even with simulation tires and a drift setup. Pulling the e-brake can help keep it in the drift, but that breaks the unspoken rule of drifting*

*haha, made that up :)

Definetely get the Evo, no question. Most Evo's can use yaw control which is drift-tastic. As for handling... well... even without yaw control I prefer them to the Subies. Personal taste maybe because I know a lot of Subie fans, but the yaw control takes it to the next level.

Yeah, thanks for the replies. I'm ganna buy my EVO 6 TME tomorrow, right now i have 175,000 and i'm just ganna get 200,000 so hopefully i can get everything. Thanks for the help all.

the 22b is just a better car...

looks better is better and has a flat 4 rather than an inline...

i have no problem drifting this car... but then again i have problems with a lot of other drift cars that other find simple...

i bought the TME. I can't get it to stay on the course like my MR2 though! I did all the settings, bought EVERYTHING. I just gotta find a way to drift it. I use Thio's settings. If ne of you guys have a better setting, please tell me!!! I need it badly. Oyeah, next car will be the 22B!

Spent 220,000 total for the EVO 6 TME/FULL UPGRADE...

Here are the settings I use:

Springrate: 8.0 / 7.5
Ride height: 106 / 106
Compression: 8 / 8
Rebound: 8 / 8
Camber: 2.0 / 2.0
Toe: 0.0 / 0.0
Stabilizers: 3 / 3

LSD
Accel: 20 / 0
Initial: 20 / 0
Decel: 20 / 0

Other
Downforce: 0.19 / 0.21
TCS: 0
ASM: 0
AYC: 110
VCD: not installed

The settings are not perfect but I've been able to pull off some crazy stuff so they can't be too bad. Use Turbo3 and sports tires.

It's not the parts, and it's not the settings. You wasted your money. Dumping alot of money into a car won't make up for lack of skill.
trust battle stage
get a FD stock with sims and thats all folks

If I were him, I'd buy a new Evo, put on some sims, leavce it stock. Test it, then figure what needs to be done to the suspension from there. Once you've improved the suspension as much as you can and it still doesn't drift well, add some drivetrain parts. Still don't work, lighten the car... add a couple of power mods...

I think I'm at about 6/6 for brake balance.. I'd have to check. It shouldn't make much difference but you don't want it too high otherwise it will screw with your balance if you left-foot-brake while drifting.

Yes.. Evo is better.. as said before STI understeer... get a GT-R cant go wrong there... a R34 owns all AWD cars... i think its the best AWD car out Evo is nice too

ROll

Yeah, the EVO 6 TME is great!!! i just beat beginner championship again, i got about $250,000, thinkin bout gettin the Subaru 22B...if you guys have ne good car for me to use, leave some comments, i don't really wanna fix up a SKYLINE either...sorry, not into them much
