Evo V Rallyathon

I bought a Mitsuibishi Lancer Evo V Rally Car and did all the Rally Races. I won 23 and lost 4. Im ok with 3 of those losses (Cultus, Escudo, Tigra Ice Race Car) but I feel that I should be able to beat the Evo VI Rally car on race 3 of Smokey Mountain North Reverse. Ive tried over and over but he always beats me by more than a second. Is the Evo VI Rally better than the Evo V Rally?

Hmmm... Thats weird... I guess I figured there would be a slight performance increase, but not as much as there is. Is the Evo VI really supposed to leave the Evo V in the dust?

from what i know, i don´t think so.....just look at the LanEVO7 in comparison with the EVO6 in its season.....it has done a lot better job then than the EVO7 now, last year that is :banghead: :D

But it's still going faster than the Evo V did, the competition was upped as well, Mitsubishi wern't the only team to improve the car. And yes, although nota big difference in the looks the Evo VI had quite a few changes and was both quicker in road and race spec.

There's a 32hp-differenc ebetyween the V and VI, and I think the VI has the understeer-in, oversteer-out problem inherent in most Evos pretty well cured.

On the other hand, winning a Mine's Evo V, adding a turbo, and other upgrades with dirt tires is still a cheaper alternative to the V Rally Car (about 220k credits to 500k). The only drawback is the peculiar LSD setting of the Mine's (front only).

With you bought a Evo V in used cars, and bought anything for him, less the TSC and anti-spin system (it is useless), with good settings, and with good "hands", you can win the Opel tigra ice car, I and think isn't very hard. My settings for Evo VI put a ride heigh at 130/130, the springs ratio at 6/6 or 5/5 , and the brakes at 12/24.
Use the brake to use drift during the curves (very useful in hairpins).
Put the turbo stage at maximum stage, where it gives the maximum horse power.
Try hard!!!:D
