yeah its been out on the net for a while...

but anyways, the driver was a female i believe...and its so sad that the car was totalled...

know your limits...

did it tumble b/c of its suspension? and ride height? cuz the car seemed kinda high and a bit bouncy. surprised that it didnt tumble in one of those hairpins.

it tumbled because it was a woman driving...and she hit the dirt...
And a man automatically wouldn't have? Or he would have been strong enough to jump out and catch the car before it hit the gound? Puh-lease.
Now you see why I complain about street drifting. Imagine if that happened on a public roadway.

That was by far the most femanine thing you've ever said.....

if it happened on a public roadway....it would.....back up traffic? just like every OTHER ACCIDENT OUT THERE

no... it would flip onto the oncoming traffic and cause an even BIGGER accident.

how would it get that far across the road unless it was a 2 lane highway...and in that case name 1 person who is sober and of sound mind..that would drift towards traffic?

Umm... *raises hand* (not that I'm trying to sound like a badass, but it's possible to drift in such a way that even if you spin out you still know exactly where you're going to go).

You guys are simplifying this thing too much. Drifting on the streets is not necessarily any more dangerous than street racing, or even just driving on the street at all. It depends on the driver's skill set. If the driver has enough control over their car and enough experience with losing control that they can predict their car even if it's going to spin out, it is very easy to stay within the limits of safety. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who seem to think they can exceed those safety limits without paying the price, and that's what results in people getting hurt. I know people who I would rather have a D1 driver drifting around next to me than having those people just driving in a straight line.

Also, don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating drifting on the streets, it's a terrible idea. I'm just saying that it's no worse than any other situation where a driver exceeds his abilities.
