Evora help.

Hey everyone, was wondering if anyone can help me set up my Evora it is fully modded (bar Inc rigidity) and just feels rubbish whatever I do. It feels very prone to understeer and is extremely hard to unsettle, it also does not turn in well at all and refuses to change line even with a big right foot stamp. Hoping someone has a good one and can share their tune with me. Thanks Ash

The Evora is tricky to tune. Give this tune a shot, it's just from the top of my head and should be a good starting point for fine tuning.

RH -11F, +3R (Positive 3 RH rear to counteract the 'dancing' rear-end that the car is prone to.)
SR 9.7 11.7
Extension dampers:5F, 7R
Compression dampers: 3F, 5R (If corner exit oversteer is prevalent, lower rear compression damper, increase rear toe value, lower lsd accell value)
Stabilizers: 1,3 if chassis reinforcement is installed. 4, 5 if no chassis reinforcement.
Camber: 1.5F, 1.8R
Toe: 0.09F, 0.06R (Increase rear toe if oversteer is an issue, otherwise the low rear value will promote turn-in performance)

LSD: 11initial-21acc-27decel. Increase decel if stability under braking is an issue, don't go to aero if you can avoid it.

Ballast weight: try 35kg at around -16 to the front (left).

No aero. The car shouldn't need it and I would bet a rear wing would induce understeer at speed that would be hard to tune out without sacrificing performance at mid-low speeds.

Let me know how this works out for you. I may take on the task of working up a final tune for you if I get bored enough; however, tuning offline can produce tunes that do not work online.

Thanks alot mate that's alot of good info. I'll be playing tomorrow so I'll be trying both tunes and tweaking as you suggested. Never thought aero would produce understeer so had full aero package but I'll try it without tomorrow and let you know how it goes.

Hey, just tried the above tune. The sr and dampers were almost exactly what I had before but looks like I was far too low and with too much front camber. These settings have improved the car. Have been able to set consistent 1.29's on trail mountain on sport softs (plenty more to be had). I feel the car is easy to get off the floor and does not cope well with the bumps. Although much faster this car still does not feel great, It is undoubtedly capable but just not that fun. I will keep tweaking and see what happens.
