Ford Focus ST '13

A very close competition for this class of car. 0.6 seconds separate 1-16th place. I ended up coming 13th fastest but I did come 9th in Driver Choice for my Focus.

Ford Shelby GT500 '13
Link here

9th fastest in average time but 5th overall in Driver Choice. Happy with that.. :)

Ford GT '05

Link here

5th faster in average time but 4th place in Driver Choice award. Not bad considering the competition here. :) Again, Happy with a place just outside of the podium in this one.

Well done for putting your tune in Shaun....Good luck Mate.....👍👍

JCS. Can you depress me again with your current time at Willow Springs, Although I am getting a consistent time, i fear it may not be enough yet.

Same as Pete that Mini Tune is Awesome....👍
If we're talking real world examples, a Focus gets rave reviews for it's handling poise but it ain't no Mini when it comes to corner carving.

Shaun's Mini is in another dimension!

From the moment you offer that little gem at a corner, all the way to the apex & beyond, it does what you want it to do wether that's a
slow hairpin, high speed curve or something difficult like turn 1 at Brands with it's camber. Brilliant

And this from a guy that really likes compliant rotation :D

Not quite that bad... I doubt I'm going to find 0.7 seconds every lap but I should be able to find 0.4 and then ill be happy. If I have a car which is semi quick and planted, I will be happy enough to call it a day and move on to the Ford GT '05 on RH tyres.

Have you breached into the 1:18's or are you still at 1:19's?

That is close..

I'm running mid to high 1:18's consistantly with an occasional low form time to time. I've figured out why i have those fluctuations in times.. I'm not really 100% comfortable with the track.
I may be changing my Stang... I just did a slighter better than basic tune on the GT500 and on my first lap, I pulled a 1.18.967 out of the bag... not sure where from. It didnt feel as clean as the Boss but there is some serious time in this car... hmm. Decision time I think.

Bazooka time :mischievous:

I can tell you're quite busy with FITT challenges, so I won't rush you. However I'm curious about that Z8 tune? Was that already finished or was it just added to your to do list?

A very nice time to Shaun...👍
Looks like someone might pick GT500 then....:)

I have a Sports Hard version in my garage, the tune which I will be working on at some point in the future is a Sports Soft version. It may be a few weeks away in honesty, As you correctly mentioned, FITT tunes are my priority at the moment and I enroled at University today so I will have to start picking up a book or two in between tuning sessions. Ill try and get to that list of tunes when I can. :)

Bazooka time :mischievous:

Or in a certain Mr Clarkson terms:" Sledgehammer time". :D

Changing Stang eh?! Then perhaps i should do the same...:sly:
