I've been up by as much as 1.5 seconds on my lap time before I ditch it at the 1st tunnel So doing the math that's a low 1:15
You do have a monster of a tune. I have elements of your tune in mine but it is more stable for DS3 users. Took me a couple of hours to iron out my oversteer issues and some understeer at times but as long as you hit the correct braking points and don't cook the throttle too early, my tune will be fairly forgiving and easy to stay on the racing line. I doubt its got a 1.15 in it but well see what others make of it.

Don't worry, I am working on a fresh tune now with a new GSX-R. I will see what I can do in a hour or so. :)

Hi @shaunm80 well done for getting down to 1:18.613 on Midfield...Out of all the tunes i have used so far..i found your old tune feels the best for me....so i have kept your Suspension, Drivetrain and just upped the power to 263 bhp ..standard weight reduction and added 182kg to -13...you get 822kg....Set up the trans and managed a 1:16.774 and there is still more in her...i think it just needs a better driver...ha ha...thanks mate...👍

Good luck with your new tune...

Nice one...will have to give it a go....

There has been some improvements from some guys here since i last looked.

From what i gathered from my laps is that the downhill chicane really messes with the entry to the 90 degree turn before the 2nd tunnel. What i did was to get a tight exit from the formentioned chicane and use the cars weight transfer to get it to hang and "Body roll" on the tiny straight banked bit before the 90degree turn. Utilize trailbraking there and use the car's weight transfer to get the nose pointed into the corner. Then step on the "go fast" pedal, be careful so you don't cook it and go wide in the tunel and hit the curb as that thing unsettles the car.

This is just one observation i've made.

Anywho.. Good morning and happy racing.

Cool mate...thanks for the Advice....

If the car can take it go wide at the first part if chicane on to the curb and lift through the second turn and this should allow you to straight line brake to the apex leading to the second tunnel it's not as fast at the weight shift but it's more reliable so you can keep the lap if you have a great one going to that point.

What's really killing me is the bump half way through tunnel one, if your not straight you can't be on the throttle.

That's one way of dealing with it. Ahh, yes. The hump in the first tunnel is not big, but it can cause big problems.

I'm liking this tune Shaun...it's very fast there as been a couple of laps i've been in the lead up to the first tunnel and then i keep mucking it up...i just need to get use to it and change a couple of settings for my driving style and hopefully i can get a better time...cheers mate....👍

Thanks, it is very quick. I have pulled a lead into the first set of corners but lack of driving skill makes it difficult to hold the lead so I eventually drop back and end up chasing the rest of you guys around. This tune should work on other tracks as it is quite stable as long as you don't throw it around too much. :)

I'm the same mate...it's hard to keep it going....every time i start a really good lap and take the lead....something goes wrong on one of the corners and i spin out....lol

DONT THINK! DONT THINK! JUST DRIVE!

I have 2 GSX-R with 6 different tunes from Bathurst , Tsukuba , Willow...... from shaun , praiano , whoopiergirl .... but nothing fit for me . the most tunes gives oversteering an i can't handle it. so i set my car to a little understeer and this gives me my 1:16.6.. lap :)
This tune I used is from praiano 500pp just needs a little bit fine tuning on the suspension its like you said to much oversteer but its possible to do a 1.15.

Soften the tail a bit and drop the LSD acceleration setting to 8 or less that will help the oversteer a ton.
Note over softening will cause bottoming out issues on the tail and thus result in oversteer spins at exit.

Hey @shaunm80 this tune is definitly good for gold ...with my first try i was 4 seconds faster then the gold time :)

With your new GSX tune....the best lap i have so far is a 1:17.794...but if i could just keep it together throughout the whole track and not push it to much and get my personal settings right for it...i know she is capable of a 1:16 or better in the right hands.....Cracking tune Shaun...👍
