Nice tune shaun...glad you tuned this car because a few weeks ago i looked everywhere for this car:) thx

350PP Car Challenge
I felt like a challenge so I took a 350PP CS Mini Cooper '02 car and won the 450PP SH A Spec Seasonal Race. I may have to try out all the other 350PP cars now to see if they are equally capable. Average lap time in the Mini Cooper '02 was 0.47.3 per lap. Minis are good! :)

Other 350PP Cars
Fiat 500 1.2 8V Lounge SS '08 (350PP CS) - 1st Place easily
Mini One '02 350PP CM Tyres - 2nd place (1.3seconds behind a Honda NSX Type S '99)

Mini's are good thats why they used them in the Italian job:):)
That's cool to have a challenge and win with an underdog:) well done

Shaun i think i might of ruined my Mazda 787B Stealth model i've been using on Spa:(
Like an idiot i thought it was a good idea to improved rigidity:( its made it to stiff on the corners....is there anything i can do to undo this....or is it a 2,650,000 new one.. Doh:(( cheers

Once Improved Rigidity has been installed, it is permanent I'm afraid. I am planning on buying this car in the next week or two (currently on 3.4 million credits, but there are 2 or 3 LMP cars I want to acquire so I'm saving up) so once I have it, I will tune it up for DS3 and hopefully it will work on your car still.

Edit: just thinking, You will have to re-tune the suspension up so its linked in with the Rigidity to get the car to behave as it did before. Spring rates are a good place to start, Camber angle will certainly help and a play with the LSD will help rotation at speed.

Thats what i thought:( thx for the quick reply:)
That good...it will be like waiting for xmas...lol...nice one:)
There are some really nice LMP cars to buy unfortunately they are really expensive ....especially for you where you have to buy so many tunes. And most of the fastest ones are not premium cars..which is a shame:(
I did buy the Bentley yesterday for Spa and it was nice to drive not quit as fast as the Mazda but enjoyable. Gold..best lap 2.04.026.
Just bought a Sauber Mercedes C9 '89'
another nice racer for Spa...Gold..best lap so far 2.04.096:)

Happy Race car hunting:) thx again

Love the paint jobbie:) what is it

It is GT Polarized 004-P paint from one of the seasonals. Its really nice on this particular car.
(I am pretty sure that it should read Polarised with an S in the queens english)
No... looks better with a Z...lol
I need to get some wicked paints like...i dont even have a chome one yet....poor me..:)

These AI's are getting well cheeky on the last corner at Spa now..there new tactic is..if youre in 1st and only like 3 or 4 secs ahead due to penalty points..(.which is there fault anyway for ramming you up the a_ _e) they completly cut the corner and ram you off the track and they take 1st...lovely

That sort of behavior would put me in a stinking mood & something currently one piece in danger of becoming many pieces

I know Pete...its happened to me probably 4 times now and i've ended up with 2nd:( but i know one thing its made really concertrate and focus early on in the race...so when i get to lap 5 i'm to far ahead to worry about that happening:)

If that's the remedy then make that car & tyres earn their keep in your garage :mischievous:.

Fantastic setup! I dropped a 1:17.994 on my first lap! I've never driven this track in reverse, so I'm sure I could drop another 1-2 seconds with repeated efforts. Well done and thank you!

This car is one of my pride and joy tunes. I had a lot of fun testing with this car and the tune created didn't take very long to perfect. It has been one of my top ten tunes created since I started publishing my tunes.

I have only just cottoned on to the fact that the number of posts in my garage has passed 1000 posts. This is quite an honour for me as it means either one thing, either I gabble a lot and have quite a few meaningless conversations or the tunes I create have been talked about and discussed a fair bit.

Id like to thank all the regular contributors to this thread for their continued feedback and comments about my tunes and how they can be improved (and subsequently have been improved based on feedback). The garage and tunes wouldn't be as they are if it wasn't for those who have contributed so much to this thread and for that I am sincerely grateful.

I hope that you all keep visiting and I'll try and keep this thread updated as much as possible with new tunes and maybe reviewing some old tunes which can be improved thanks to the 1.09 update. As always, if you see anything thing that is incorrect, a tune that doesn't feel like it probably should or you just want some general banter, feel free to keep posting in this thread.

Once again, Many thanks!

It certainly should be! I know that I'm no where near the quality of driver that many of you are, yet I achieved Gold on my first attempted lap (on a track I've never driven!), so I'm going to give credit where credit is due: The tune was 95% of my achievement. My driving was only 5%. In the right hands, that tune could post some ridiculous numbers, I just know it.

If you don't mind me asking, shaunm80, what would you say are your other "top tunes"? I'd love to give them a try. :-)

I'll bet the next 1000 takes less than half the time as the word spreads about the tuning guru you're becoming. Well done 👍 :)

My other top tunes which I highly rate are: (in no particular order)
Audi R8 5.2 Chrome Line (There are three separate tunes for this car which work brilliantly)
Mini Cooper '11 (FITT Hot Hatch Entry)
Audi R8 Race Car '01
Toyota TS030 Hybrid '12
Aston Martin V12 Vantage '10
Aston Martin DB9 '06
The entire Anniversary Edition Collection (not quite one tune but they were all tuned together)
Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 '11 (Drift Seasonal Tune)
Nissan GT-R Black edition '12 (650PP SS) (Also has a drift tune which can be applied)
Senna Lotus 97T '85 and Senna WSR F3 '83

There are loads of others which are very good but the ones noted are what I consider to be of the highest standard.

A very easy and fun win at the recent A Spec 450PP SH Tyres race. My best lap was a 0.41.230 with this car. Seriously fast. Brake use is quick inputs, throttle control is what helps this car corner so well.

Thank you for letting me know. This car was brought ages ago, and I was unable to use it as it was undriveable until recently. I will change the tune to reflect the oil change.
