Went through some tunes today and stumbled upon a new gem.

Lexus LF-LC VGT.

With @shaunm80 tune on it and some minor tweaks on the lsd, rear downforce and final gear, it was able to blow away my time at Mt Panorama i set with his Audi R8 LMS ultra.

Old time was 1:57.7xx

New time: 1:56.364.

Safe to say, this new gem is going to provide me with hours of fun.

Hey @chrisspeed281 I do not think I will get G29 yet, because it recognize when you play GT6 it as a DFGT and I found out the G29 when you play GT6 it has only 240 degree steering lock and not the 900 degree when you play GT6.
GT6 see's the newest wheel as one of the oldest, and only reads half a turn from center in each direction on the wheel vs the 1 1/14 turns from center that it actually has.
I have no idea what you guys want from me . my thumb angle is between 30 and 35 degrees when i push the steering button

I just checked my G29 in GT6 and it has a full rotation. All I did was plug it in and use it. I did not do any calibrating (not sure if that is even possible). I see little or no difference than the G27 except for the buttons on the wheel. My main irritation is not being able to reassign the Pause button as I can in Project Cars.

You have a very flexible thumb 👍 Time to a get a wheel and put that flexibility to use.

Awsome to hear. I making a statement based off what @hall90 had said about the wheel explaining what he said. or trying too.

Going through my car list on the current beginners and intermediate seasonals, "cleaning house" if you will. Haven't found an Exeter tune that couldn't easily win. A few of mine however... :banghead: Many thanks for the effort you put in to create all the tunes you share.
Thats really good to hear. A lot of my 450PP tunes are fairly old so the fact they still rock in the seasonal events is great. No worries about the time I put in. It is a lot less these days with my uni commitments but I still find time to tune a few new ones each month. Speaking of new tunes, I have a few new ones coming up soon :)

I really enjoyed this VGT car. It isn't like anything else in the game and I love the looks of this car. How did you tweak the LSD to make it better for that track? If I recall, that track can be tricky to get LSD right as it has greater effect for going up the mountain and back down the other side safely.

On another note. I have had a request from a fellow tuner and they are looking for a few volunteers to test a tune or two. If you have the time, PM me and I will get you the details as soon as I have them. :) Thanks guys and girls.

Will work perfectly with TCS 0 as well. Infact, this tune was designed with TCS 0 in mind.

Thanks Shaun. I'm sure these recent tunes will keep me entertained for a while.
They should keep you busy and happy for a little while. :)
@shaunm80 the sheer volume of tunes you put out, is just incredible, and they are always high quality as well. You are truly a superb tuner. 👍
Thank you. That is a great compliment. :) I try to do my best with the time I have available. I am sure that you have a few tunes in the pipeline for your garage at the moment?

Shaun your tunes have been the majority of my wins in GT6! I don't know how you do it but you do it very well. The only one I am having a problem with is the Peugeot Vision car. The best I've been able to finish is 5th which surprised me very much. That is a very small matter since like I said I have used your tunes for the majority of my wins and what few golds I've managed in the Super Laps. I do use a DS3 but use the d-pad to steer. I've never been able to use the joysticks after many hours of frustration. This is what I started GT1 with and has remained constant through GT6.

Well you should ask @Pete05 or @Lionheart2113 for tips than. They are both D-pad, Square/X drivers and botha re very fast.
When I used a DS3, I used the lefft analog for steering, Right analog for shifting and L2/R2 for throttle brakes. Took me a good 500 laps to get good with that setup. Start low. 400 ish PP then step up when you're comfy at that power.
A really good car to learn with would be the Shaotaliema BRZ Grifer that car will forgive mistakes, is stable in a slide and wont kill you for cooking with gas. ;)

The Mazda LM55 VGT may be an easier car to use if you're having difficulty with the 700pp seasonal. Even if you aren't having trouble, it's a fantastic car to whip around Silverstone. As far as being a button navigator, you are in good companies with @chrisspeed281 and @dddsprayshop as well. They usually place well ahead of me in seasonal TTs. They are quite fast
