National A Clubman Cup (600PP) - confortable winner. 👍

After testing both of the X-BOW's in the new Time Trial, I have come to the conclusion that the X-BOW R '12 is better at 550PP SS tyres than the SH tyres. And the X-BOW Street '12 is excellent at 550PP SH and very good with SS tyres at the same PP. Is this what others have noticed if you have tested both of the KTMs?

I'd say you're spot on with that analysis.

Agree. I tested so far on Matterhorn all the3 setups of the Street in SH and SS. In SS the car handles very good, huge grip and corner exiting fast. In SH, a little bit of throttle control needs to be applied.

The R12 so far tested only in SH. It came up to the job (Matterhorn). little bit of throttle control needs to be applied, but very fast and nimble. On low gears, caution is needed to avoid spun.

Just wanted to leave a small note: in tracks with fast descents the brake balance needs a small adjust, if a hard brake is applied the rear gets loose...

Other then that, 👍

My advice is take a budget hatchback under 200 bhp and make yourself dizzy doing lap after lap after laps. You'll eventually learn the track & when you do, it's so rewarding to get it right.
A true test of car and driver
Will try it thanks:)

Shaun,Maserati GranTurismo seasonal tune of the aspec race is wrong. You said first gear at 3.542 when its really 3.642
Typo error on the keyboard, Ill get it changed. Thanks for letting me know.

Edit, just checked and my first gear says 3.542.. Not sure why you can't reach that. Has anyone else found this issue?

Hi Shaun . Today i installed all Power Parts at the X-Bow. Your Tune makes this Thing to a Weapon for upcoming Seasonals. Free Run 600 PP : Suzuka with Sport Soft 1.59 , Red Bull Ring with Racing Hard 1.25. I'm realy impressed of your Setting. Final Gear to 3000 , that's it
Nice find. I have just tried the same settings at 600PP RH tyres and this car is seriously fast round Red Bull Circuit. I have no doubt that this car is really fast on SS tyres as well if that is how it reacts on RH. It cost me 300k in credits to build another one but I have a feeling that this car will be worth the expenditure one day.

Nothing like a car that pays it's own bills :D

This was 500 PP. With 600 PP and RS Tyres i won the 10 Round Silverstone aswell. This Car with Austrian know how won all Races i made :)
I came second on this race. I lost by 0.603 seconds. :( This car is really good on petrol, Hardly uses it up compared to the cars around it.

Its okay now, I am in first place and should get the win easily. The McLaren which usually leads the pack wasn't in the restarted race so thats helping. :) Done - X-BOW Street '12 or RS Tyres is definitely the way forward. Thanks @chrisspeed281

You are right . The white BMW McLaren is almost unbeatable. Anyway the X-Bow works so fine with your Tune . I'm realy happy with it. :)

I won the X-Bow month ago somewere at the Career Event and it get dusty in my Garage. What a waste :banghead:

Simplistic design, stunning looks and an engine note to die for. The ultimate driving machine.

Retuned at nearly 500PP on SH Tyres to win the A Spec Seasonal (550PP SM at Apricot Hill). I came in first place after two attempts with this car. Very nice car but excellent throttle control is required on the corners to stop the rear end from smoking up and losing all the traction. This car gives you a good feeling when you get it completely right as it repays you with good racing and consistent lap times. (for me, it was 1.37s for 5 laps in a row)

@chrisspeed281 - If you have time, could you take the updated BMW 507 for a spin. I have taken this tune as far as I can with regards to keeping it quick and able to stay on the road. You have helped in the past make my tunes even more stable (R8 LMS), maybe you will see something that I have missed during the tuning process to make this car better.

Yes indeed, It drives like an old car too, which is very nice. I didn't want to ruin the engine sound for myself by putting on the Racing Exhaust but I think that if you did, you'd reach 500PP with an additional 10bhp squeezed out of the engine. It would be faster if you did add the part but it just seemed a little wrong for such an amazing looking car.

Nothing wrong with the original sound if you ask me. If the semi-racing make it still sound like a V8, I'm happy. It's when a V8 sounds like 6 cylinder I have to make adjustments.
'70 Dodge Challenger race car anyone? You know, the green thing you can't repaint :irked:

The car was tuned for the seasonal event so it needed the extra power to get it into that winning position. I agree with you, the original sound (400PP CS version) is really nice to listen too but the Semi Racing Exhaust doesn't do any damage to the engine note, you still hear that V8 screaming away :)

Additional tuning info: This tune also works perfectly (and i mean perfectly) at 550PP on SS tyres. Remove all power parts except the racing exhaust and adjust power limiter to reach the PP limit and this thing handles like its on rails at this PP range.

So far it is good at 600PP SS and Perfect at 550PP SS. I am just about to tune a 550PP SH version of this car. This car along with the cross bows should be amazing in any future time trials that PD create.

This variation of the Rocket tune is designed to be stable through long sweeping curves to get the maximum amount of speed from this car throughout an entire lap of a circuit. Throttle control is required on sharp turns as this car is a little slidey when you first put the power down but the slides can be corrected very easily as long as you use the throttle to control the slide itself.
