WOW!! Thanks very much shaunm80 for this absolutely wonderful tune!! I used this car and your tune to GOLD the 7 Aug 2014 race car seasonal. A win by only a couple seconds, but a win none the less. Had to stretch the final gear to 3.260 to gain a couple mph but other than that I just drove it!! GR8 work partner!!

Ok i did the Nordschleife Seasonal now 10 Times with only 2 Wins. Toyota TS 030 seems the best Car and the Ford GT LMP spec II test Car give me the second Win. A Time under 6:40 is necessary. Thanks God no Penalty this Time

Hi Chris...What tune did you use for the GT Ford GT LMP spec II test car and did you change anything...cheers mate

One car that has a lot of potential is the nomad diablo using stock settings came 2 seconds behind the gt-r concept lm car. Its easy enough to drive and sounds great maybe one for shaun to tune when he gets a chance.

Lovely Gold tune for the Toyota 7 '70 on the new Nurburgring 600pp Seasonal 07.08.14...Best Lap so far 6.41.727

There Should be quicker times to be had in the right hands:)

Praiano's Tune..but decrease power to 55.6%...turbo normal....you get 600pp...459bhp...Weight 820kg and set ballast position to 0...it changes F/R Weight Distribution to 49:51. Changed Brake Sensitivity to 8 and Brakes to F7 R9:cheers:

This Racecar is Wicked on here...thanks again Pete05 for the heads up on this car:cheers:

Praiano's tune.... But Decreased power to 54.5%...turbo normal and had to add 100kg of ballast...position 0.. to bring down to 600pp mark...you get 456bhp and 850kg weight...changed brakes to F9 R10.

Ok mate...thx
Another cool pic Shaun

Wanted. Some driving skills for Nurburgring. Imagine Bambi learning to walk on ice and thats exactly how my TS030 was driving around nurburgring. It was hilarious to watch. Even though it had grip and I have the confidence to push the car, the best I could manage was 4th about 38 seconds behind the winner. Hmm. This may take some time :)

Lol...the Bambi thing...that's funny mate..

I know you don't use most driver settings Shaun but just a thought why don't you
try....your settings plus the drivers settings and 17kg ballast i posted on page 56...this is such an awesome set up for this track....i'm not telling you how to suck eggs mate..because your'e the man.....but i know this is not one of your favorite tracks but your tune is wicked...good luck Buddy

What aids did you use when you achieved this time? I am struggling to get close to winning this one but I am using ABS 1 and TCS 1 which may be hampering my progress.
I use TC 4 and AS low. Today i tried out the Chaparral 2J and did a 6:39 with a Hell Ride but only 2nd Place 4 second behind a McLaren F1 :)

You can add all your 450 and 550 Cars to the List because all are good enough to win. Trust me on that :)

Thanks Chris. All cars added to list. Thats a lot of cars. Makes me wonder how i found time to complete a diploma in Healthcare now I look back at the number of cars I tuned. :)
It would be nice to periodically, return to your older tunes and make some fine adjustments, if you can find the time to do that. Anyway, great tuning! :) 👍

If I find a tune which has lost all its competitive, I will definitely do a fine tune, This has been done on a few tunes since I started. Other tunes may get a fine tune but these tend to be when a new seasonal requires a tune to be more fine-tuned. Time is limited right now (as you may have noticed I've been away quite a lot recently) and I am also in the process of moving in a couple of weeks to Bournemouth for Uni. I have 5 tunes which I am working on right now and hopefully I can get those finished off soon and published. I also have to finish off some races from when I was in Africa as well which will take some time I think.

I appreciate all the notes you've made recently about tunes where some information has been entered incorrectly. I am going to go through the last 15 pages of this thread and make the changes which you have identified.

Cheers :)

Where did you position the 17kgs of Ballast? at point 0? It feels slightly better but that could be because I've turned TCS to 4 and ABS to 2 for the 600PP seasonal now.

OK Shaun, there's no rush at all. :) Have a good time! 👍

What aids did you use when you achieved this time? I am struggling to get close to winning this one but I am using ABS 1 and TCS 1 which may be hampering my progress.

May I leave my opinion?

I use a DS3 and always race with all aids off (only use ABS1 when the track requires). All those helps will only slow you down... Try to apply the old Porsche "mantra" (slow in, fast out). Im using a tune from other person and im doing average laps of 6:10, but still will a lot of margin to improve.
Try to use the most of the downforce of the TS030 (for that increase the downforce to the max) by using it in all corners, apply desacelleration on fast corners and small braking in tight corners. Remove any ballast it will only hurt your lap... Restrict the power, its easier...
The worst point is overtaking the oponnents without loosing time... I try to pass them on the straights and before hard braking points...

Sorry for the long text, :P, hope it helps... 👍

:)
