Setup gives me 811.46pp. Double checked but definitely over.
Yes. Update changes have made this car go over 800PP in that setup. What you need to do is add more KG weight, leave in the same position and you'll have a heavier (but faster) car to drive, It is very random but it works. I think it has 100Kg ballast now.

Honda RA272 '65 700PP

Racing Medium Tyres

A nicely balanced classic racing car. grips well through the corners. If you find that the car starts to pull towards the grass. let off the gas and then reapply and it will resettle this car. Safe to drive and will give you an indication when the tune is reaching its limitations.

Hi
I was wondering if you've made any adjustments to this car since the latest update? I use this car a lot for the Le Mans race

Many thanks.

I will be taking a look into a few cars when I have a few days off. My brain hasn’t been feeling it lately so struggling to get tunes into a publishable state.

for those who need the new menu book, the tunes for the 2019 super formula sf19 works pretty well on the Honda sf23. Need to adjust the suspension a tad in the future but it is safe and fast enough at present for those races.

If you use any of these tunes to win an event. Please let me and I will add them to the events below. This will help others find tunes to use for all the events in the game.

This car is seriously quick. It has been made safe and you have to drive a few laps in it to get a feel for the handling. Once you get it, you should feel confident in the tunes consistency and how to get the best out of it. Not an easy car to tame but it is a blast!

A 800PP version is being worked on. It should be good for sardegna when it is completed.
Hi, I’ve just applied this tune but I’m only getting 935.67 pp. Probably due to the latest update but thought I’d let you know. Many thanks for your tunes, I use them a lot 👍

The settings for SF19 work well for the 23 but good god I'm struggling to get past 8th on any of the 3 courses, does make a nice change rather than just blasting through menu books, but if anyone's got any tips would be delighted to hear any...

I have managed to win all three with the tune of Exeter Honda SF19 applied in Super formula Honda SF23. I have not had to stop in the pits and I have not changed tires in all the races. A little upset with the prize, I would have liked a new engine.

Finally managed to get 1st using the sf23, but wow loved the challenge in the end was all about not making any mistakes, requiring intense concentration for the whole of the races. Used RM'S for the races and had the luxury of pitting for RS's for fianl 2 laps of 1 race.

Really nice car to drive but it sounds horrible unless using cockpit view. Had to set the Power Restrictor to 99 instead of 100 so it fits inside the PP restrictions.

Hello Shaunm,

Many thanks for all the tunes shared. They are perfect for me.

I have a problem with the Audi R18 '16.
I apply the tune but I don't get the same PP, I arrive at around 900 instead of 938 as you indicate. I redid the settings several times, from a blank sheet, but always the same gap. Did I miss something?

Have a good day
Nico

The PP ratings have had a lot of changes over recent updates so it probably isn't an error on your part. Some PP adaptions require less changes in engine power / output settings than others. This is the only way to get the car back to its originally tuned rating.

The biggest hitter has been the F1500A for me so far. I have both settings down to 70% and a lot more ballast. It is faster now though than in its previous setup which is just weird.

Nico brother I hear you, I've had the same problem, don't think it's you I reckon it's the updates they seem to have reduced some cars whilst increasing others, perfsect example is the mazda LM55 vgt, used to have no problem dropping pp to 800 whilst still having an animal car, used it the other day with the same settings but pp was 830, so gained 30 somewhere.

Shaum mate, keep plugging away🤜🏻🤛🏻, literally had to do each race 10/11 times in a row till I nailed each race.
Gotta admit though bruv WHAT a challenge.
Peace/love and respect 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Bonjour Shaunm, bonjour Tone,
Thank you for your answers.
That's what I thought, so I won't worry too much about it.
Good day to all.

A car which will happily do 1.30s all day long on the mission race. Very stable and easy to drive. This is good for tyre wear. Seems to be the car of choice for this event. Slightly faster than the Suzuki Cappuccino car too.

A very fast and slightly crazy classic japanese car. Engine swap makes this really quick in the straights so watch those braking zone. It will corner well if you do it sensibly. It has a lot of HP and torque so throwing it into corners doesn't end up very good. Slow(er) in and really quick out is the key!

As far as I am aware it is yes. No-one has said it is different. Not sure what the PP changes have done to it but in terms of handling it should be the same as before.

Thank you for letting me know. I will one day spend many millions buying all the engine swaps but I am still working on collecting all the normal cars in the game. Currently unto 420ish. 50 odd left to get :)

This is a pretty good engine swap car. It has over 1000BHP and it actually drives pretty safe. It does want to break traction at some point in every gear but the handling of this car means you can control it very easily. Brake earlier than you think you should otherwise you'll end up in a wall. Really nice (considering the torque) through corners and it doesn't want to spin mid corner which is nice.

Obviously, non-pp races this thing will win easily but I tested it on a hypercar car and it would have won if not for my dodgy driving and missed braking zones. A capable car at 659PP. You can see the types of car this car beats on the results screen shot from the hypercar race.

Excellent. Still works fine. At LeMans, it’ll hit 208 mph on FM6. Sucks gas, (2.1 laps on FM6) and a bit hard on tires. I used bolt-on and skipped the permanent engine upgrades, which gave 850 hp.

This tune works great on the GR86 RZ ‘21. At Le Mans, it’ll hit 187mph on FM6 and 200mph on FM1. Gets 2.7 laps on FM1.

A car that needed a little bit of teasing to get to this stage. It occasionally feels like it needs to be a little stiffer in the rear but to do this would hurt the front end turn in so I left it in this stage and it works well. Very easy to drive, safe at speed and as long as you don't overdo the breaking zones, you'll hit those apexes perfectly. Enjoy this one folks.

Still awaiting addition races to really test this one out but I took it to the european tracks and it dominates cars that are a lot newer than this.

Excellent. Thanks. A rocket at 700pp. I used all bolt-on upgrades, added all aero bits, added 200 ballast,(to keep the power level up). At LeMans, it’ll hit 213 mph on FM1. It gets 2.5 laps on FM6. You’re correct on the braking. They are weak.

Bro, used this tune to win the last couple of Red Bull races, just changed the Final Drive a bit higher. Great tune, thank you!

My only question is, because of my driving style I seem to eat rear tires on this car, as even with TC2/3/4 I'm burning the tires on these slow corner exits. What would I change in order to slow that initial onset of torque/hp down as I'm exiting the slow corners? I can correct it with my driving style, but I'd rather see if I could tweak the tune to allow me to get on the throttle earlier instead of feather it so much. Your thoughts?

Don’t full throttle out of every corner, ease the gas pedal while turning corners and once you know your set you can full throttle. Any time you hear tires screeching your burning the rubber faster because you don’t have traction causing tires to lose grip.

I already made this car as tame as I could. It works great in high speed sections which is where it needs that confidence. My driving style is slow in, fast out and I manage grip with throttle.

I have the same thing on my F1500-a now, since an update about 6 months ago, that tune needed more ballast to get to 800pp. It it changed the smoothness into something a little more challenging. It is faster now with weight distribution but it can spin if I over throttle out of slow corners. Sardegna especially.

So I know it has been an eternity since I posted any new tunes and I apologise for that. Real life stuff got in the way of being productive with this game other than the daily grind and collecting cars when the updates came around.

Things are starting to become a little more stable with me and I am finally on the right path to sorting out my career once more. Still some ways to go but I am on the right path which is reassuring.

I am off this week from work and decided to get back into the tuning side of this game. I have revised a previous tune and created some new ones from scratch which are good enough for winning races and making them fun at the same time.

I am going to work on a couple more over the next couple of days but all being well I will be putting out some new content very soon. Like i say, its been a while and hopefully some of you will try them out and see what you think.

Some really interesting engine swaps have come around recently which has made some of the races really fun for me.

Anyway, I hope you are all doing well and getting ready for the fun and cheerful time of christmas.
