I was going to close this old tab on my browser when the day 31 caught my eye. Could it be another SR bug penalty related raise? Or is it possible to naturally jump from 54,000 over 70,000 pts that suddenly (in one day) before an erosion to 58,000?

It certainly looks like it. Day 31 might not make me suspicious on its own, after all the player does win 1/3 of races. But day 47 where DR lands on exactly 70,000 while SR takes an obvious fall is much more suspicious.

We can theorise a reset to 70k triggered by SR falling below 60, I think. It's highly improbable that SR could change without DR changing, so it isn't a lower level of SR, and a higher level of SR wouldn't make much sense - with all the others, they seem to have set the trigger levels so that dropping an SR letter is a warning to mend your ways. Looking back at day 31, there's nothing there that would disprove that either - SR started at 83 and could easily have gone down and back up that much in just a few races.
