I had a nice race with him as well (although I think it's actually "The Wraith82")

Good, clean racing for five laps and then he beat me by two tenths in the end.
 
Wow i just had the best race i have ever had ever.

First lap on the 3rd turn (long wide right turn i think) i wrecked some guy on accident, so i went back and waited for him to recover and then i raced from where he was. We were both 17 seconds back, I lost the guy i waited for in a few seconds he spun out on his own again. So i just started to race as fast as i could to catch up. Gaining seconds every lap with a consistent time in the low 1,53's every lap up until the last one. I finally caught up with the leading group of people about 7 or so guys, integras' and focus' mainly. On the last turn i was in 3rd right behind the 2nd place guy with 1st directly in front of him only giving me about 2 seconds of draft which gifted me with just enough speed to take the lead and win with only 0.061 second time difference.

Funny i used to give up when the race became around a 3 second split. but 17 seconds this is a first for me.
 
I beat him once (extra Honda power from S2 rears), he won the next 2 (extra spinning from S2 rears).

Now for about 3h driving in the rain, and 3 days away from family, home and everything in it. Sometimes I hate the job...

when people say their times what are you basing it off of what time zone.. im confused

but im going to be on tonight i want to race!!!

No way man,never there was a reason for him to be pissed at me I was leading that race from T1 and he just rammed me off.:grumpy:
Maybe he is fair with you becouse your GTP tagged driver I dont know.

Sounds familiair too me, but I have a GTP tag and still he tried some tricks on me.
He named me unfair, but at the question of why unfair i got more crap back.
Can remember racing this person before and then he was quite clean.
Maybe the PSN ID is right , but the driver behind it is someone else ?

Time zone doesn't matter unless time zones are separated by minutes rather than hours.

It's just on the hour then every 15 minutes.
 
Yesterday I found myself in a race as only one of two cars on the grid. The other one was a spanish guy in a Focus. Without singling individul people out, Spain seems to be the home country of a unproportionally large number of drivers using "different" racing techniques I therefore had my doubts. Got a good start and we both made it safely through the first corner. I then proceeded to do probably the best four laps in this particular event I have ever made. There was maybe a few tenths here or there but all in all it was to the best of my abilities. I was in the zone. During these four laps the other guy was behind me. The thing is, he was right behind me. The largest margin I ever had was four tenths of a second. I'm using the chase cam and I could usually see the front of his car in my view. He did not once touch me during these four laps! At the end of the fourth lap he slipstreamed past me to go into the lead for the first time. A lead he held to the line beating me with two tenths. It was simply amazing to see him stay so close without ever bumping into me. Skills indeed.
 
Moblyspd - sorry for the swerving at the finish of the X30 race in my Focus, I was trying to keep you off my slipstream. Calcifier (teg) beat me by .003 of a second before by just catching the slipstream in the end when I decided not to move around that time, we also both did 9.29's, I mucked up both last laps (pressure lol), he caught me and pipped me literally right at the post doh.

Don't worry about that... Though it made me a bit seasick :) swerving around the straight like that . Needed one more lap I think for a victory, but you earned it well.

one racing calcifer,and for the haters one the last lap i wasnt trying to push him off :rolleyes: we always go in front of each other when we pass on the straight so the other can use the draft and i cut over too soon.

 
Compulsive rear view disorder?:)

Does anybody do this event anymore? I haven't come across a GTP tag for two days.
 
Well I did a few more races this afternoon (still got beat by a teg!) just no people around, but managed to do a total time of 9.26.9 in my Focus after playing with my setup a few times (to be different I tend to use a car that isn't the most popular and fastest i.e. not the faster Integra) with consistant low 1.52's (no slipstream or 'off' circuit wides) leading from 1st corner, 1st lap let me down a tad.

Not too bad for the Focus and by all means not the fastest, although I can't get into that 1.51 bracket i've got a good few times in free practice. Its very easy to lose momentum on the heavy focus on this circuit, and very easy to get out of shape/line while swaping paint with others. Might be on later.

Low 1,52's is not bad at all with the Focus. Sure is better as what I can manage. As a Ford enthusiast I'm ashamed that the Teg suits my drivingstyle better then the Focus. But that's the way it is :)
Be there with the Golf or Mazda, to try these out. I can handle the Teg well.
Let's see how it goes with the Gti and Mazda.
 
..or like me, will be buying a Civic Type R (EP3) in a few months times and love the Teg DC5 and the way it drives in the game as its similar to my soon-to-be real car, but its used too much in this race.

Had a good race with Mobyspd in his GTi, nice to race against something different, although it looked like he was trying too hard in the rear view mirror by overshooting loads of corners.
 
I'll try and get on for a few tonight.

Maybe drive something different too. But will probably end up falling back on the Integra :sly:
 
You'll probably have to do a software update before getting online. I had to. Nothing special though. Just some stuff about adding frames to photo's.

In my defence :) I like to state that I was trying to master that GTi.
It's a bit of a handful at 100r, but second gear acceleration is superb.
Falling back to the teg, back at 00 with the mazda
