Just to remind some of you guys the run off area is not part of the track unless forced to use it 👍 and starting on 549 PP is not really sportsmanlike.

Hi all,

You may have seen me racing on this one recently.

I'm the twin brother of 'scleeve' - although I'm not as good as him.

I'm improving though - best full time of 9.28 now.

I'm using a G25 wheel set up on my Iron board in the lounge, but the board keeps moving on the tighter corners around Fuji!!! That's my excuse anyway!!!

Hi mcleeve, I was in a few races with you and your brother last night, you are both fast and fair. Ironing board doesn't sound ideal!

Yeah if you see me and my twin bro (mcleeve) getting a bit heated up ahead its only becuase we are very competitive, if he nudges me he'll get it back lol, but we try play fair so we won't do it to anyone else. Also if you see us both pull over to the side as the start, were just planning our own race, but thats not usually in the 15min time slots.

As mentioned, I too think using 'wide routes' off circuits is cheating unless you've mucked up braking or someone's pushed you out there, none of my best times are set that way, so you won't see me doing it on purpose.

The Golf Gti is not bad to drive, but I definatley lose out on the main straight unless I can get a draft. As said before, I manage low 1.52secs in free air every lap (best of 1.51.5 in free), total best of 9.22 in the Golf (loads of 9.24's) which isn't too bad considering the car isn't the fastest car, but its just not quicker enough in free air to beat people like itg_911gt3mike in his teg (i've beaten him before by keeping up with drafts on the straight) who must be pulling 1.51's free air every lap to get 9.19 of less against me in races i've got 9.23/24, but I'm sticking to the Golf, I even prefer it to the focus as I'm pretty close to my times with that as well, its different :)

Oldnail - I use to live and work near where you live, St Albans, place called Bushey, not too bad area. Use to blast my modified Pulsar GTi-R upto St Albans and back for a run. Now moved to Wales.

Tired Tyres

After following you around for a race I think it would be quite easy to get you into the 9.20s with just a few minor adjustments.

Hi mate, where in Wales do you live?

Hi mcleeve.

I thought you may have been related .

Heres what I use for my DFP. I just cut the back support out and extended the legs a little and moved those 2 crossbraces so I can get my legs through. Not sure how you would mount the G25 shifter though.

I quite like the Golf and can do low 1:52's and have managed a 1:51.9. Wouldn't mind seeing what tune you use if you fancy sharing!

Pulsar should be good on Welsh mountain roads!

Steve01965 - live near Tenby, Pembrokeshire SW Wales.

Oldnail - I'll post my Golf tune later when I am on, I have (what looks like) strange gear ratios but they work for me around certain corners, also use front R2 and rear S3 tyres, lack of final gear adjustment and therefore straightline speed lets it down.

On the note of the Pulsar, yes great 4wd (tuned to lowlag 330bhp) lightweight fun around the awesome twistie roads of Wales but had to sell it in December after 8 years ownership becuase, like alot of people at the moment, got made redundant and tried but couldn't justify the 'toy'. Hoping to get a Megane F1 R26 (and will remap) once sorted.

Yeah he just slid into me :ouch:

I guess he disconnected becasuse he wasn't winning

EDIT:

Off for me Sunday Roast. Back on in a Bit 👍

I wish other drivers would learn how to work together to catch up to the next guy rather than just diced with each other.

I was battling with PastorF1 after he dropped back from you Jase and if we'd helped each other out on the straight, I wouldn't have had to watch you get further and further away!

The thing is not everyone gets that concept.

It's a case of I'm infront of you and thats where I'm staying alot of the time.

Plus he was a pain in the rear quater.

Yes he was with me as well. Never mind, there's always the next race.

Edit. Thanks Jase. You towed me to a new PB 9:28:770 👍

In for a few races now.

Apologies to grim reaper for ruining his race by passing him on the inside at T1. Got a penalty , but he waited for me.

Holy cow MobySPD 9:20

YEAH I'm Not as fast as you GO ROUND ME NOT THROUGH ME !!

It was a team effort :) GTP_Cohiba helped me a lot. Sure is also pretty fast with the teg. I found out the TCS was at 5 :ouch: . It totally screwed up the car characteristics. Put it off and i'm back in business.
Pretty happy with that 9.20. But raced some GTRP and GTRo guys that can manage 9.17... So that will be the next challenge

Sorry If I did go through you, my fault
