Going into it just expecting to be entertained by some unrealistic car racing, I got more then I hoped for. I think its all how you look at it. If you go into it looking for a movie to depict real life, and what works and what doesn't. Then, your are going to hate it. If you going to see some nice cars race around, and do things they wouldn't normally do, then your going to come out a happy camper.
I also was surprised with the story line, it was way better then I thought it was going to be. All and all I am happy, and look forward to adding it to my DVD collection, and seeing the behind the scenes on all those stunts. Interveiws with the real drivers would be neat too.

Some kid's phone rang, and a guy two seats behind me yelled, "Shut the **** up!" The kid mumbled, "**** you." Some girl next to the kid yelled, "You ****ing queer." The guy behind me yells, "What the **** did you two *****es just say? If you'd like to talk **** we can take it outside mother****ers!" The girl just kept her mout shut this time, and the kid said, "Oh, I wasn't talking to you." Two of my friends yelled, "Bull****!" when the kid said that, and the guys behind us started laughing.
All in all I thought it was pretty good. Coulda used a LITTLE more T&A, but other than that, a good time. Definently no oscar winning performances, but a good waste of time none-the-less. You just gotta distort your perception of reality a little bit. Its hollywood, its a movie, of course things are gonna be stretched outta proportion and over the top. Like those EMP things the cops had. Cops DO have devices that kill the electrical system on your car and force it to shut off, but they're not big bazookas w/ prong thingys. they're actually little motorized things w/ a wire stickin up and as soon as it touches any metal on your car it kills the electrical system. But who wants to see that in a movie? Lets make a huge gun out of it instead. 
!! This was an awesome movie. I guess I'm one of the very few who don't think that his move was utter crap. Who cares about all the mistakes? Maybe some stuck up perfectionists, But not me. THis was a very enjoyable movie.
