I chose Lotus as my team when I got the game a couple months ago. First have was with controller and couple races second half too. Then got my dfgt and did a bit better the rest of the season. Scored 88 points total. 2 poles that ended in 2 wins. And a few top 10 of course.

Hot offers towards the end of the season but only from hrt and few others were interested but made no offer. I stayed with Lotus since I only want to move to a better team.

Now I am driver #1.
What are the 3 options for in the R& Day screen? Balanced, aggressive and neutral. What do those do?

In my first race in season 2 I don't have engine settings while driving?. Oy option is wing. What happened?

Also how come parts of all tracks are white in the mini map.?

I freaking hate the pits. It is pathetic. Team tells me to pit lap 4 every race. I go in and they won't let me out till all cars go past me on their pit exit. He says wait. I loose 10 or more places and usually exit put in 24th. What the bleep???!! Totally pisses me off. So finally on the last race of season 1 I waited till lap 7 to pit hoping no cars in there. Got lucky.

The pits is a Royal PITA! Best thing you can do is pit 1 lap before or after the AI. Theres somewhere in the garage where you can change your pit in lap, so for example, AI pit on lap 4, you set your pit in lap to 5 then your manager won't tell you too pit until lap 5 ;)

Not sure why but every season even if you stay with the same team you have to re-earn the car upgrades.

I never pit when the game tells me to. I usually start a race with options and I almost always run a few laps on those tires while the AI has changed to primes, giving me a lead and when I pit for primes, the AI won't catch up unless I make a mistake. I race on legend difficulty and it's pretty hard to get a big lead but once in awhile I put the race away a few laps before it's over, but usually it's a close finish. Tracks like the Turkey circuit I sometimes use primes first and then options and if I do that I pit early and run most of the race on options. Mixing it up sometimes keep the races interesting lol.

I notice ai pits on more then one lap. In the garage where you can choose pit strategy, the number shown always shows 4 for me. Does that mean the ai will pit then too always?

I like don't know when to qualify on prime or not. I don't know when to pit. I don't know which race % to use that will give me time to catch up and win after I pit.

One thing I hate is when I pit before the crew tells me then he'll tell me to pit every lap now. I hate that.

What does it men in the r&d screen?

You can edit the pit strategy and change when you want to pit; you can add a second stop even if you wish.

One race (got poll in my Lotus on my home track-hilarious the excitement by race engineer on making poll (Montreal) :).

I pitted one lap later than a previous race and I avoided being in a long line of ai cars pitting. And then being held up in the pits.

My beef is I was leading in my Lotus at Montreal lap 12 and Vettel took me out! :ouch:

So I re-ran the race and on lap 12 Button forced a pass at the 'Wall of Champions'; ending my race :ouch:

All I want is a points finish; so I'' re-race it again :dopey::crazy:

I've restarted one race like many times cus the ai took me out from hitting me them bozos. Lol.

Why are some parts of tracks white?

I get seriously 🤬 off with the AI in the last race I did, It started raining quite heavily so I stopped for Wet tyres. Then about to laps later it said Buemi has just stopped and got a brand new set of option tyres. :grumpy:

So I can only assume the rain wasn't affecting the AI? So I rage quit

Managed to hold on to 3rd (3rd try silly ai)at Montreal; hilarious the excitement in the engineers voice:)

Nice that it recognized it was my home track:tup:
