Major update to the 1993 cars. Now Adelaide crashing has been fixed. It involved increasing the cars weight, creating new power.lut to compensate that, changing colliders, brake.ini settings, CD gain in aero.ini and several other things. Now all races should be pretty much trouble free.

Last update to the 2005_2007 skins.
A lot actually adjusted. Now Monaco has 98% correct ads in correct order for 2005. I also updated Bahrain because the main sponsor was GULF AIR. Same for acu_instanbul_park where RBS was the main sponsor along with OMV. Some fine tuning here and there. Spa also fixed the stupid Kunos logo and already before I removed all DRS signs from Kunos Barcelona and added period correct ads. Montreal also updated to HONDA, Budweiser, VPower and RBS which were the sponsors (not Gauloises, Fosters, Helix, etc.)
No more updates I think. All in one small package 77 megs. Extract to your track folder and overwrite.

The 1993 Championship that I made is extremely tough. I'm driving with Jean Alesi and I've been out of the pace in every single race so far. Managed to score points in rainy Interlagos though.
Doningtonpark 1993 version in heavy rain is very difficult. AI is very fast and because of the spray I couldn't keep very good race pace. I was in the 4th position but then I made a mistake, went to gravel and ended up 10th. I pitted in the 10th lap and so did AI pretty much (1 stop race for all). Max fuel with my settings was for 14 laps.
I got blue flagged by Prost, Senna, Schumacher. That much I sucked.

Alright... MASSIVE update to 1982, 1983 and 1984 seasons.
A lot of car and driver helmet skins corrected.
Fixed 90% of the crashing at Kyalami 1967 (changed the track to different version with a fix)
Fixed cars hitting the barrier in the Monaco Sainte Devoite corner (I have no idea how I did it actually, I copied the colliders.kn5 from Lotus98 Kunos and changed colliders.ini and that finally did the trick)
Thanks to advice of Thockard I managed to make the SD cars much, much better (dampers, antirollbar, suspension more travel = less cars slingshotting, etc)
Reduced the top speeds of all 1982, 1983 and 1984 cars, I think they were a bit overboard
In 1983 season Rosberg's car has the correct #1
In 1982 and 1984 seasons Piquet's car has the correct #1
Only 1984 anon_dallas (Dallas street circuit) is a bit crashy race now. But it was in the real life too.

I think he had a huge advantage with his small body, but it would be more than unfair to reduce his success to that lame fact. all in all the biggest admiration for him is in my case, that he had always maximum patience when he made on lap after another on literally rails.Bernie is my man.

I might improve the 1984 car skins. There is a lot to be improved. For example Senna's blue suit isn't that nice.
I actually fixed a lot of stuff just recently. Bellof rear wing showing wrong number, Mansell and De Angelis used the same car skin which I fixed, also fixed the text MOBIL 1 Raly Formula from Williams to Rally Formula (how can you even misspell that but hey it's SD). etc.
Get the new stuff
And don't forget to use the year specific 1984 Leaderboard and add Kyalami 1984 skins from the CM.

The actual 1985 Kyalami race was insane too. Rosberg hit an oil spot, was one lap behind and started larger than life charge. Frank Williams said it was the craziest charge he has ever seen. Watch the actual race last 10 minutes and you'll see.

Is here a member who has experience in downloading the free products from Simdream. https://www.assettocorsamods.org/shop/?min_price=0&max_price=0 Is it OK or are you forced to order the payware as a sample or another catch. I know this organization was very juridical aggressive at some YTer and site owners.
Reason for this I want to try the moving crew first, before eventually going to payware.
Background: From what I do miss in the whole AC championships is immersion, it’s right now very sterile without any audio or moving human objects before a race begins. Ever seen the movie le Mans when starting the race and you notice the lack of in AC.

You're correct. AC championships don't have any of that stuff. But then again it doesn't have any of the stupid gimmicks that EA/Codemasters games have had during the years. Many of those animations become a bit tiresome after you have played something for a longer period of time. You know the podium celebrations and team CEO interviews and all that. Personally I'm not missing that stuff at all. It's all just a driving sim and only pure driving. That is a good approach.
The championship menus and stats could be a bit better organized and it would be nice if the members could modify the menus somehow. Maybe it's possible but no one has ever done that.
That animated crew looks good. But as it's a SDD product I'm always a bit skeptical.
What would be the best improvement is the lively audience on the stands. Perhaps a man waving the yellow/blue/chequered flags. And overall the pit crew animations would be really nice and animations of the usual havoc that's always going on there. Now it's very basic. But then again it all works so well. EVO will probably address all that stuff but we don't know how much we can actually mod it.

Sorry for hijacking this topic, but to me it appears we are the only who are using the championship mode in AC.This one. It's brilliant.
You get your results in the Content manager. Simply upload the results json file to this site and it will take care of the rest.
