Well i finished my first 20% F1 season with no assists in the toro rosso finally....
Having a ruff start in my first season of F1 i was starting to think what am i doing but after abit i really enjoyed it maybe better then league racing it im honest but its a didnt ball game i guess.
But it went right down to the wire, well pretty much. was 9 point between me and lewis hamilton coming in to the last race me starting 3rd of the grid and lewis 6th....
me and lewis had a great start i went to 2nd over taking webber and him up to 3rd and vettel in 1st. after around 2 laps me and lewis jumped vettel and lewis pits for primes and i stay out one more lap on options chanceing it.
after coming out the pits i was thinking lewis was'nt to far behind but it seemed he was held up by pitting in to early so i think, getting held up by the drivers starting on primes leaveing me open to the drivers championship.
but anyway thats what happened i finished 1st and lewis 10th putting me just over 20 points in front for the championship win and and 4th for constructors in the toro rosso.
i will admit that i did restart 4/6 races due to getting use to the no assists on some tracks and the AI being complete donuts sometimes...but i've got to say if you want a challenge then try the career with no assists (expect i did use auto pit box and limiter due to me being not arsed) but the thrill of it was great.
i will be start my 2nd season soon moving to renault this time round i wont be doing no restarts if there mistakes theres mistake took luck.
btw before i go i used all my own race setups although i hear that the quick setups are just as good i dunno, also on monaco the frame rate its shocking in sector 3 in the end i just crashed my car to move on to the next race it was doing my eyes in.
Thanks for reading Cobra.
