So, if you are looking for ways to make this car better, this is the wrong thread šŸ¤£

I went to town on tuning the F3500 to match the liveries, and get a unique feel for the different chassis and power unit combinations. This includes changing the transmission and the exhaust.

All the adjustments are minor, but you can feel the difference. I kept the changes minor so as not to upset the natural balance.

The MP4/7 - Off the top, the base car is, for all intents and purposes, the MP4/7 and I used that as the benchmark for all other alterations. With 1 exception. I added 1 to the ballast and moved it to position 1.

Honda V10 - Swap the transmission to full race. reduce power to 98/99. Alter the diff to 9/19/32

Mugen Honda/Second tier Honda teams - Change the transmission to Sport and set the diff to 9/19/32. Reduce power to 96-97 depending on the team.

Ferrari V12 or V10 - Change the exhaust to full race and change the transmission to full race. Reduce the power to 98% and add 1 to ballast at position 1. I set the diff to 11/21/31

Minardi Lamborghini - I made this unique, because it's an oddball. Race exhaust, sports transmission, power reduced to 750, weight +2 at position 2, diff set to 9/22/31 (makes the car less stable)

Ford V8 Cosworth - Reduce the power to 95%, add the sports transmission. For chassis, if you want it a bit more lively, like a Jordan, set the diff to 9/19/29. For a Minardi (as mentioned above), go for less stability like 9/21/31. I highly recommend only doing 2 steps on any diff setting. Experiment until you get what you like.

Renault V10 - No exhaust change. Racing transmission. reduce power to 96-98 for second tier teams like Ligier. Set the diff to 11/22/32

Everything else - You can mix and match as you like. For instance, I did an Arrows Asiatech as well. I put the race pipes on it so it would scream. Sports transmission. reduced power to 96, and set the diff to 12/18/28.

But hey, try what you like! Try the Ford Cosworth set up and you'll see what I mean. It feels and sounds like a completely different car. Also, if you've found a tweak that works better/is more like the reported behaviour of the car, let's hear it.

A word of caution, dropping power below 95 is really stretching the gap to the cars powered at 100. As a standalone, it's fine, but racing against the others is a challenge. But hey, that might be exactly what you are looking for. :)

how can you get so many type of engine
There is only 1 engine, but the engine sound/car sound changes if you change the exhaust and the transmission.

There are two exhaust options and three transmission options, so you can end up with six unique sound profiles and car behaviour profiles.

You can leave everything stock, and just have the different sound and feeling from the exhaust and transmissions, and just that makes a noticeable difference. My settings are only to add a little extra.
