Just want to take the time to apologize for being absent for a while. Since the thread has gotten pretty long since my last post, I will be hosting a photoshoot this Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 8pm PST. Most likely this will go on for only an hour, please send me a friend request @ GTP_Shigegaki and come into the lobby for some photo goodness.

Edit - Something just popped into my head, next month I would like to organize a little photoshoot competition just for Z's. Maybe best still shot, action shot, etc. With that said, I will be looking for 2 judges to help me with this although you wouldn't be eligible to compete. If you're interested, please shoot me a pm on here and I will start organizing a list. Thanks!

Page 12 and just now some Z31 love...took forever to find it in the UCD, and then even longer to be randomly login-bonus'd the right color. My first car IRL (well, mine was an '85 2+2 non-turbo with T-Tops - but close as I'm going to get), even in the same color. It's certainly not the worst standard model I've seen, but as you can see there's room for improvement. :(

I just noticed something odd about the 370Z. The 370Z in the game has a rear windshield wiper and so does the one in real life in Japan. The US version does not have a rear windshield. Wonder why they don't include one for the US.
 
It's always been like this though with the Z's. Like my car for instance, the 350z in Japan has white clear side markers while the US version doesn't. I really wish the newer Z's were turbo like the others that came before.

:tup:Nissan doesn't want a Z to top a GTR in chassis potential or drivetrain for that matter. But check out the two races that a Z32 competed in GT500 I am assuming it's a private team as that nobody has ever mentioned that i've seen. Although it was probably close to stock, i'm assuming (besides boost and maybe turbos) I know it gave all the competition a run for their money. Now days SUPER GT cars are homogenized race cars, sharing nothing with original street chassis so it's harder to compare the stock car counterparts. Just wish that Nissan would revive the Ultimate Enthusiast's Machine and not dull the Z35 or 400ZX into a 370Z incantation which was designed for a broader market.

I would not mind being a judge if you need a die hard fairlady z fan. Way to go on the GT Academy also; hopefully I will be seeing you in round THREE! Have to say I am partial to the Z32 but being as most people won't enter it I will only look for the best photo composition altogether. If you don't need me to judge I have a bunch of Z32 photos to submit just say the word.

Of course Kado if you don't mind. I just need to finish creating the basic outline for this. Hopefully we can get one more judge, but I will have this done by Sunday.

Update once again, please check the 2nd post as the next two events lined up are described. For this Sunday's photo shoot, since we can only hold up to 16 drivers including myself. We will need to have some type of sign up list for those who can make it. If you're interested, please express your interested and I will create the list on the second post on the thread. Thanks!
 
Depending on how many people sign up, we could change the time to be more flexible. Just keep an eye on the thread.
