FaLLeNAn9eL's Gallery [Updated (6.25.07): Mixed Fruit]

I must say, that mine's skyline update rocks. I have a mine's skyline update coming too.

Great shot! I really love those reflections on the front lights. Also it is soo damn clean and very soft. 👍 👍 As you would say: suave!

I decided to take some time and do a more traditional type of update, rather than just a one shot deal.

Very clean 👍 I like the colours in this picture alot, the reflections in the headlight itself is awesoem 👍

What's missing though is that you did not clean up the body line on the right, guess you forgot it ;)

Thanks alot ultra :)
About the right side of the car, I think you're right. :banghead: I could've sworn that was part of the road. :ouch:

I like this shot a lot, because it looks like it is locked onto some prey.

Thanks TVR&FF :D
The car was locked onto some prey. The camera man who took the shot got runned over.

Another very clean picture, with great quality all around. I like the camera, captures well the car "style", and only showing the headlight. Well done:tup:

Thanks alot NTX :)

Good god, god bless that Mine's Skyline shot.

Thanks alot man :D

I like it...different style to it. 👍

Thanks bro ;)👍

Very nice, I like it.

Thank you DLR :)

Love the angle, love the cleanup. Could stand to have a *tiny* bit more contrast, IMO, but other then that - SUAVE!

Thanks dman :)
I went ahead and took your advice and turned up the contrast alittle. The shot came out killer.

I must say, that mine's skyline update rocks. I have a mine's skyline update coming too.

Thanks alot Ray :)
I'll keep an eye out for your next update ;)👍

Thanks alot freddy :)

looks good, specially the last two photo travel and the banner. i know the banner came from the first large image, but, the lines dont seem to work with the car in the first picture.

Sweet looking update mate. I gotta say that I love your signature logo, and the type of letter. Good design mate.
Keep also doing your great shots, because its always good to come here:)

Very nice shots man! I really love the 3 shibuya shots and the last motegi shot. Very well executed and a nice but subtle blur. 👍

Looking very good, very realistic but the body lines could make it more realistic: Select a small area on the side of the lines, for the hood lines you select the left side of the left line and the right side of the right line. Get it? Don't make the selection too big, just small and run the dodge tool a couple of time over it, if it's set to 20%, run 4 times over the selection. Try to get the selection as close to the body lines as possible without removing the line. The result will be that the car feels more like it actually exists out of parts rather then looking like a game car 👍

Do you get what I mean?

Thanks alot [es] The tail light trails never really came to mind when I took the shots. Somehow I completely ignored them. :indiff:

Thank you very much NTX :)👍

I love the 1st and 3rd shots on the thumbnails.
Great work:tup:

Thanks alot Tommi :)

Thank you for the wonderful advice Ultra. I think I understand what you mean. Are you talking about the highlight between the body parts. IE Between the fender and the hood. The thought of bringing the highlight out completely crossed my mind. I still have a lot to learn Thanks again for your words of wisdom Ultra. :)

The Mine's is always a nice car to photograph :D. Nice details you catched.

The Impreza is amazing! Very amazing! I specially love the Shibuya pics, where you integrated nicely a racing car in a vibrant city. The rism are also spectacular 👍

Yeah, quite, to make sure you fully understood it, I took a little go at one of your pics if you don't mind ;)

I've stroked the areas which I've done with the method I'm talking about. I first select the body line itself and fill it with 50% opacity and black color. Then, I select the outside of the line but very thin and go over it with the dodge tool. I hope it makes sense to you now ;) It isn't much but it makes your pictures look alot more realistic 👍 I also added little lens flares to see what I'd look like with :D

Thanks for the comments guys :)
Thanks for the tip as well :D The subtle highlight at the edge of the fender really adds a sense of depth to the gap between the fender and the hood.

Here's a quick update, let me know what you think. ;)

That's one hell of a shot man! Simple and yet great looking. I really like how the dunlop tyre looks. The fog looks clean and realistic. Good to see that you still do some shots now and then.

~if you like have a look at my newest updates~

Woh! I always loved the great colors and lights your shots usually have. This is no an exception! The cold foggy sense of that wet track is very good, so I like a lot how you managed the shadows in the far area to emphasize and even make it more reallistic than the stock one.

The layout of your siganute is quite complex, but once again is helping the overall professional look. It's intregrated and not pasted. That's what I want. I want more man! Why? Because this is suave :D

Nice one! The fog has a great feel to it. Just only a minor gripe which is surely with your skills you could have made it look like it had the fog lights or head lights on..... Other than that it is really nice shot. Keep it up! Check out my gallery if you have time!

Great to see another shot from you, I love your style.
This shot is no exception, the car looks great and you did a superb job at making Tsukuba look foggy, it has a spooky feel to it. :scared: :D
The lighting and colour is handled well too, also very nice angle.

A beautiful picture, I love your boarder style too. Very professional looking and like alex said is integrated well into the picture.

Suave work, bring more soon. 👍

Damm...thats a very good shot IMO!!! The fog is looking great, just as it looks in the real world. I also like the "cold" feeling the shot gives, just like a winter day!
Good to see U again mate, hope to see more from U:)

That's really, really good!
The mature colours on Tsukuba wet, combined with the fog you created really set an awesome modd, it's just like those depressing days. :)
I'm also really liking the car, especially the right side of it, both the tones and the reflections add to the shot's mood, and the way you got the giant tyre looking, it usually looks plain flat and liveless but you gave it a sort of 3D look.

How did you do the fog? It's very realistic. 👍

EDIT: I forgot when I commented, but I just gave you +rep for that shot. It gets better the more I look at it.

looks good 👍 needs some fog lights though ;)

Thank you [es], I got kinda lazy and didn't want to add the lights, though I should have. :banghead:

wow, nice fog pic!👍

Thanks man ;)

I've done custom night shots in the past but I guess I was too lazy to add lights to this one. :indiff:

I haven't had much time to put into my shots lately due to school and the upcoming final examples. When summer rolls around, I should be able to post updates with more meat on it's bones.

Thank you beerz :)
The fog was done by selecting the area of the background then running a really powerful Gaussian Blur. After doing so, I used the eraser to thin out the amount of fog in the areas closer to the camera such as the area in front of the Dunlop tire.
