Irish, Swedish, and English backgrounds, all Canadian for the last couple generations.

We got the war records for my great grandfathers during World War I or II and some funny stuff on there. One of them was being treated in England for a gunshot wound. When he had healed and was ready to go back he just left for a couple days to see his family that lived very close to the hospital... Docked pay and a rank

Another one was wounded 4 times and the received 4 medals in World War I, shrapnel wounds 3 times and a sniper shot that cut his neck but didn't kill him  Him and another great grandfather have their names on the Vimmy Ridge plaque in France.

That's about all for us, we are low key people

Nothing interesting on my side, my family all are from Mexico, and the majority died from alcohol poisoning. Sadly my uncle, mom, and younger brothers are the following in the same steps. Only my grandma, my youngest sister, and I don't drink alcohol.
