So my wheel arrived a Turbo S. When using it with a PS3 can a wired mic plugged into the wheel work? Cant test it myself till my cockpit is done, hopefully this weekend.

Nope.

The headset port is only for 360 use.

I figured that. I hate my bluetooth, guess i gotta buy a better one. Oh well Thanks for the quick reply

Can I ask how long it took for your Fanatec to arrive?

I'm going back and forth between a Fanatec Carrera, the DFGT, and a THRUSTMASTER RGT FFB CLUTCH as seen here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16879337010

I'm looking to use this almost exclusively with GT5 but maybe occasionally NFS games as well.

I see the Fanatec and Thrustmaster as being better options because of the clutch (Which would be AWESOME!) but I want an overall really nice wheel, which the DFGT seems to be, but it doesn't have a clutch.

Thoughts?

It took 7 days from when i ordered to when it arrived. If your gonna get the clubsport pedals also, you will be very pleased.

Took about 7 days for mine as well. No club sports but the basic pedals are pretty good once you find a way to get them secure.

btw The DFGT is a nice wheel as well. I would forget the Thrustmaster and go with DFGT or Fanatec

Get the Carrera, it IS a nice wheel, the grip is probably my only gripe but if you are good at sewing, it should be OK.
The Thrustmaster is not that good. It is not fully PS3 supported, only 270° rotation, sequential stick, not that great....
DFGT or Carrera (I'd advise the Carrera ;))

Yeah I started one, but my steel just arrived this week, so there arent any pictures yet. Should be some tommorow evening though.

Congrats, I got my Turbo S Clubsport in October of 2009 and it's still like new, you'll love it!

I even spent an extra $150 to have it shipped right to me after production so I could get it in time for Forza 3's release. only 100 of us nutcases did that...
