Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel

So Digit in his stream today was using the G Pro. These were the settings he used.
Torque: 11
FFB filter: 11
Dampner: 0
Trueforce: 20
Brake Pressure: 30

I'm going to try these setting this evening yet. I've just been using the recommended settings at the moment.

He said the wheel was alright, but he didn't like the feel of the brake and throttle.

And in game he was using Torque 3, Sensitivity 10.

Digit seemed to like the wheel including True Force. He didn’t like the stitching irritating his thumbs (I agree).

His main concern was with the brake pedal. Specifically, the resistance he felt is not linear: not enough resistance during 0-50%, and too quick a drop off from 100-50% when trail braking. He usually uses the Fanatec Clubsport v3 pedals.

I’m wondering... Can anyone here who has used both the Fanatec Clubsport v3 and the Logitech Pro Pedals confirm these findings?

Pretty sure he mainly uses the Csl non load cell pedals actually.

From Mihael...
I used 28mm combination (red and yellow)

I also used V3 pedals for the last 4 years, and just recently changed to non loadcell CSL pedals to test them...

Questions About the Logitech G Pro Wheel & Pedals

I appreciate all the comments and discussions about my review of the Logitech G Pro Wheel and Pedals. I want to take the time to clarify my perspective and address some of the most common points that have come up.

1. Others are competing for top times with this wheel, so it must be a ‘you’ problem.”
🔹 My response: The Logitech G Pro Wheel can perform at a high level, and I found the base to be good with TrueForce being great in terms of detail and immersion. However, my delta directly relates to the issue I explained. While the wheel itself is capable, I wasn’t happy with the consistency and overall feeling from 100% to 50% braking, as well as how the pedals feel in the first 10% of input.

🔹 Everyone has their own preferences, and I always aim to give my perspective based on my experience. If you love the wheel and it works for you, that’s great! But my goal is to provide insights that help others make an informed decision.

2. “Logitech’s recommended settings are best, and you should just use those.”
🔹 My response: Logitech’s recommended settings are exactly that—recommendations, not an absolute best setup for everyone. Force feedback settings are highly personal and should be adjusted based on your driving style, car type, and personal preference.

🔹 That said, FFB Sensitivity at 1 is a big no. Setting it this low is like buying a €1500 wheel and only using 10% of its potential. It severely dulls the finer details you need for proper control, making the experience feel lifeless and disconnected. Instead, I recommend adjusting sensitivity to a level that maintains both realism and responsiveness, rather than just accepting the default setting.

3. “If others can use the wheel successfully, why are you complaining?”
🔹 My response: Every driver has their own preferences. Some may find the G Pro Wheel perfectly fine, while others (including me) might feel it lacks certain feedback elements compared to other direct drive wheels. My goal isn’t to say “this wheel is bad,” but rather to highlight my experience so that others can make an informed decision based on their own needs.

🔹 If you already own the wheel and love it, great! If you’re considering buying one, I hope my review is here to help you weigh the pros and cons.

4. My Performance with the Logitech G Pro Wheel
🔹 My response: I placed +0.386 within the top 30 in the world at the end of my stream. This shows that the wheel is certainly capable of fast lap times, but my concerns were never about outright speed, it’s about consistency and feel over longer sessions.

5. How I Adjusted the Pedals for Better Control
🔹 My response: I adjusted the sensitivity of the pedals to 85, which helped me deal with the non-linear pedal response. This adjustment improved the feel, but it didn’t fully resolve the issues I had with the brake and throttle inputs.

6. Pedals: Travel, Stiffness, and Feel
🔹 My response: The Logitech G Pro Pedals don’t have built-in ways to adjust travel and stiffness. While the brakes have elastomers that serve as a partial solution, I found that:
🔹 The brake pedal is too soft in the first 10%, regardless of which elastomer combination or software settings I used.
🔹 The throttle pedal has a similar issue—it’s very easy to move in the first 10%.
🔹 This is likely due to the softer springs used in the pedals. I tried all the elastomer combinations and all the included springs, but the issue persisted—especially on the brake pedal.
🔹 You can add a deadzone to counteract this issue, but for me, that’s a huge no-go. A high-end pedal set should allow for precise control without having to artificially mask a hardware limitation.
🔹 While some drivers may not mind this, I found it difficult to get the level of consistency I expect from high-end pedals.

I appreciate the discussion and different viewpoints! If you have more questions, drop them in the comments, and I’ll be happy to discuss further.

Isn't he just changing the setting in GHub and not on the memory of the wheel and therefor has no impact on GT7 whatsoever? Or did I misunderstand completely how the setup of the wheel and pedals works?

“Mission accomplished, back to base Joe”. I found these cool stands for the Pro on Etsy. Great quality, very stable, hub locks in, two height options. Super fast shipping.

I think that’s a wrap unless something crazy comes along. So happy with where we are now in the ecosystem. Options! Had to take a picture. That’s a classy group of wheels if you ask me

I'm sorry if this is already posted somewhere, I searched but I didn't find it.

Hi @LOGI_Rich I have 2 questions for you. Can you help me out?

I just bought the Logitech PRO Wheel + Pedals to play GT7 - and I did find the official In-Game Settings for Pro Wheels page.

However, I heard that GT7 recently changed their physics and a lot of ppl were impacted. Are those values in the link I just sent, the latest and greatest? If not, could you please provide us with the recommended values for GT7 given the latest patch + latest firmware on the actual Logitech devices?

On a side note (this is a question for anyone who is interested ) - why do we have double clutch on the wheel but then also have a clutch pedal? I assume that's 100% redundant/unnecessary. Am I crazy to think that? I imagine a car would only ever have 1 of the 2 setups.

Does the Logitech pro bundle do this so "it can cover all motosport styles" ?

If anyone could help me out with the above it would be super, I look forward to start playing with the new toy :D

Thanks all!!

Now I can't remember but I assume it saves the pedal settings to a profile? Not totally sure tbh

So sad, the Logitech Wheel I just received came with a cosmetic issue and the right shift paddle does a weird double click... idk what to do.
Any video of this double click and cosmetic issue that has you flustered?

Damn that was hours long trashing of the pedals from Digit. I've got no experience with other loadcells like he has, so hard to say if it's really that bad comparatively.

Honestly, everyone has their own preference. The V3 was actually the main comparison during the Pro Pedals' development and we had a lot of feedback from testers that the Pro was preferred (something I've also seen mentioned a few times on forums since the pedals were released). Everyone is different.

G HUB's Sensitivity setting is not saved in the memory, so that's a placebo effect going on there. The pedal output is absolutely linear, so my assumption is that he's referring to the feel of the pedal. The odd thing there with his comments is that there's no such thing as a brake pedal with a linear force profile for feeling, unless you set them up to be super, super stiff where there's basically zero deflection. I'd maybe suggest he tries going for the stiffest option and then give it a few days at least to acclimatise.

For the ability to edit the axis curve in the pedals... well, let's see if we have some news on that front this year.

The in-game Sensitivity point is fine. It's like he says; they're recommendations. The recommended settings are based on running the wheel at max torque but we all know that setting the sensitivity to 10 when you're doing that makes the wheel oscillate like crazy if you're in any of the Group cars. With the 3 torque that he's running, that's far less of an issue and in fact running higher sensitivity gets you back some of the info that you might be missing by running the torque lower.

@dehuedoom I think I've covered your first question above, but no change required on the recommended settings.

Second question: clutch pedal for manual shifting; dual clutch for grid starts.

A video of the shifter issue you describe would be good though (support will need it anyway).

Ive struggled with this issue a lot myself...but I've always worried id damage my pedals
It could, I don’t know but decided I didn’t care. It’s worth it for me. It feels much better to me like my track car. There not much to compress and difficult to get in by hand so I use a pair of channel locks to compress it enough to get it back in the mount. My pedals are inverted makes it a little more difficult than the stock pedal plate to get leverage with your hands the brackets mounting brackets are in the way. Sometimes I just use red elastomer and fill the rest with hard plastic spacers. Just personal preference

I have got in touch with the support guys, and recorded a video and everything else - just bummed out as I wanted to get racing asap 😭 -- hopefully it won't take too long to resolve everything and the replacement wheel is mint!!

Thanks everyone

Thanks for clearing that up! Thought so too and it shows how much personal preferences, experience and maybe bias can go in these subjective "reviews", there could even be such things as "how i feel today in general" going into these things. For my end, tinkering with the settings a couple of times, came to the conclusion that chasing the "perfect settings" doesn't make sense, in the end most of it is very minor and you can't really discard the placebo effect completely. Much more important is to stick to something that works for you and then put hours and hours into muscle memory. Anyway, that's my opinion. Got a coaching session booked with Digit on Sunday, maybe I can get some more insights into his experience but then again, what's really the point?

@EricTheActor, where did you get those plastic spacers, self-made or via e.g. Etsy?

Sorry to bug @LOGI_Rich - but I have one more question. How should Canadian users buy the GT 320 MOMO wheel? I noticed the Logitech Canadian website has no buy button, and the MOMO website only allows USA for shipment.

If it's just a nono for now - do you know or have a rough idea of when Canadian customers will be able to buy it or how we should go about it?

Thank you!

Canadian customers have a "secret" way of getting the wheel - give MOMO in the US a call and they can process the order over the phone.

And to head off the inevitable question... I'm afraid that's not an option for the customers in Europe who are not in Italy, France or Germany. Things will take a little longer to sort out, I'm afraid.
