Fanatec Clubsport Pedals & Wheelstandpro

Here is my solution to mount my Clubsports to the WSP non-deluxe version. I wanted to use minimal extra materials to reduce weight - the thing already weighs a ton and I have to carry up and down a flight of stairs to use/store it!

Basically my solution is no different than any others on this thread - but I used different materials to get there. I wanted the pedals offset to allow the unit to collapse, and to align where my feet would be. I used the two metal bars that came with the WSP and were intended to clamp the DFGT pedals in place. They attached to the feet of the CSPs and sat across the arms of the WSP. The metal adapter plate that came with the standard Fanatec pedals is then set under the WSP arms and bolted to the metal bars to clamp the unit to the WSP. It worked out nice, no movement anywhere.

I have only used the CSP for about an hour so far - and only in GT5. Overall I am very impressed. They feel so solid over the standard pedals. I have a tuning kit on order and plan to beef up the spring on the gas pedal to provide a stiffer feel, and may play around with the throw on the brake - but even in stock form they are well worth it!

Nice job mate!!👍
Looks solid

I have WSP stand too, myself and my son are thinking about getting Clubsport pedals module. WSP seems to me is quite flexible to mount that module and it will be stable. How is your experience now?

It is very stable. I have no concerns at all, very pleased with the results.

Hello All

Few weeks ago I sent request to producer of Wheelstandpro about possibility to fix Club sport pedals to the stand. They sent me samples which seems to keep pedals stable.
I upload some photos on http://s172.photobucket.com/albums/w14/kjedrus/

I believe they gona have it soon in their offer or already is but there is not difficult to make them by your own.

I hope it will be helpful for some of you.Regards.

They're not the same. The RWS may move a little forward and back if the centre pole isn't very tightly screwed in, but it does not even budge side to side, which is the problem with the WSP. ISR did a review of both and also pointed this out, but don't take their word alone for it, many videos show the side to side play of the WSP. If I didn't have the RWS I'd probably pick up the Apiga, but the RWS is quite heavy and sturdy. (as you'll see on the delivery guys face)

I got a WSP and I do not find any side to side movement.
Whole unit works great with mine T500RS and also G27.
Can't tell anything about RWS but read many comment of users that had it and it gone apart in few months!

Here is the solution I created:

First, here is what I started with before I received the GT2 and Clubsport pedals. It is my Driving Force GT wheel and pedals mounted on the wheelstandpro:

1. I first cut a piece of particle board:

2. After painting the particle board, I used the Xbox pedal adapter to mount it to the wheelstandpro:

3. This shows the bottom of the mount, with the screw in the middle:

4. I then attached the Clubsport pedals to the mounted particle board. There are screw holes in the feet of the pedals.

5. Here is how I attached the GT2 wheel to the top plate of the wheelstandpro. Two screws and the table clamp did the trick:

6. Here is the completed set up:
