Hey guys, these days I updated myself on the situation, which I was behind by more than a month, before I updated myself on Reddit, but the guy who wrote stopped posting updates and I thought there weren't any.
From what I understand it is now certain that Corsair will be the next owner of the company, if not, I don't understand why pay to pass all the patents by name, moreover I don't understand how and who could block Corsair. The only one who perhaps really intends to block the acquisition is Thomas, but I don't know if the matter should go through a court or similar.
As for Thomas, I have always respected him because it was he who made DDs accessible to everyone and united the world of simracing with real racing cars. But it's quite pathetic that he doesn't take the blame, even if he isn't directly responsible, the company was still under his leadership. So I don't know whether to feel sorry for his departure from Fanatec, also because, as cool as it is, the approach to the world of real racing probably took away resources for simracing projects, and this led to never seeing the pedals Podium, which would probably have been hydraulic, a complete update of the steering wheel range, steering wheels with display, gearbox and handbrake update, etc.
In the end, I don't care if it goes to Corsair or Thomas makes Xiaomi buy it, I hope not, what matters to me is that whoever owns this company will be able to fix all the problems and bring new hardware, which is what consumers are asking for for years. Also because the DD+ is a marvel, for many, second only to SimuCube, and it's a shame that the rest of the products aren't up to par.
