Fanatec Shift knob replacement?

What are your guys thoughts on doing this procedure to the Fanatec shifter? I did the silent shifter mod which made me love the shifter now, as not only its quiet but man the resistance is so much better.

But I would also like to replace the shift knob since I have this extra one that my brother gave me since it couldn't fit on his car. I as well have this exact same one on my actual car and would love to have it on the Fanatec shifter as well.

I replaced mine with a momo knob I had lying around.

Try to get a heavy one. The added weight makes a whole lot of difference just like in real life. I personally love mine since G27 shift knob is completely junk as well.

Wow your guys shift knobs are looking great, especially that carbon fiber shift knob. Man a simple mod looks like it makes such huge differences.
