JCE3000GT
These are the only cars they didn't **** up. The rest of them are pure 100% rice and it's sickening. I'll still not watch this movie only because of the fact that the series is rediculous and can't seriously appeal to anyone not into the rice/drift "scene". That M6 and Silvia are sexy.
Well what is "rice" ? Not always easy to define imo.
My definition of rice might be like this : ... oh well no definition, more a list of attributes, that tend towards
rice :
- Venyls
- Neon light under the car
- Chameleon colors
- 50 - 100 pounds of sound equipment in a racing car
- cheap / fake aero parts
- focus on extreme aero without increasing power
- in general : cars that combine the stuff above to make their car appear a
lot better than it actually is ( concerning performance )
At the moment I can't think of any thing else.
So, imo a shopping list on a car
can be rice, aswell as extreme aero but it doesn't
need to be : Is a 700 hp JUN Supra with a lot of aero, lemon color and a shopping list a "ricer" . Hell no !
Sorry, but these days everything is rice as soon as it is an Asian car with some aero equipment. And that is just wrong imo.
Let's go through the rest of the cars you called 100% rice :
OK, I admit, it's on the edge and I don't like the aero parts that much. But hey, they really look aerodynamic and this car might have 800 hp. Who knows ? And if it has that much power, this kit will help to push the car over 350 km/h (210 mph+). Sorry, it might not be the nicests car out there, but why is it autmatically rice ? I admit that the doors are the only drawback
OK... rice or not, it just ugly as hell

I mean this is no "car" imo, so let's stop talking about this gigantic stereo
Ok there is a shopping list and some aero mods. Rice ? Why ? The performance of this car surley is great and the parts will help.
Well these two BMW's almost look stock just with some minor changes, like the front lips. Beautiful ? I don't think so, but not extreme enough to be called rice imo.
Ok... I probably would call this car rice aswell. Or just ugly, I don't know
White car, some aeroparts, a better suspension and some wheels. Where is the rice ?
Ah well, on the edge maybe. It is almost too low for the race track, but if this car has 400-500 hp and the suspension is adjustable, well than it is not that ricey I'd say....
The one in the back is no rice, just a tuned classic and in front... well I see a venyl and that qualifies it for "rice" indeed. On the other hand this car
could also be a pro drift car, but yeah, probably rice....
Might be powerful, who knows... those kind of cars can drift like crazy, you don't believe it until you see it. Might be a great and fast car, I see no venyls, no neon - I think we just know not enough about the car to call it rice.
Where is the rice factor of this car ? Apart from the golden gas...fill...thingy...
The only thing that could be rice here is the shopping list. But if those parts are really all in there than it is just a damn fast car and no ricer. My dad also owns a Civic Type R, you don't get them in the USA but beleive me, it is a true sports car, even in stock !
Ok three s2000 : They are all tuned ( can you see the intercooler for example ? ) and so I pose the same question again : Where is the rice ? The third car has some "fins" on the front bumper, but those parts have a aerodynamic purpose, so....
Well the rest... well the minivans are probably rice yeah, perhaps the Toyota in the last 2 pics aswell, but who knows ? maybe the owner tune dthe car to over 500 hp, and again imo, that would change the situation.
