Standard car i.e not tuned or modified, Or modified car..??

Road car or Race car..??/

Front wheel drive or rear wheel drive...??

No offence, but the more information you give us the more we can help, there are 1000+ cars in the game..!!
 
If this is for the hatchback series, you can tackle that with a Ferarri or Lamborghini. If you have a little more change, you can use a McLaren F1 '94. That's all overkill for that series. If you want a challenge, look at the Typical Opponents and get your hands on one of the cars listed there.

The reason I was not specific was because all the factors you mention matter not.

I am simply after the fastest hatchback in the game. Does not matter if it's tuned, if it's rear wheel drive at all.

Its for a 2 player challenge with a friend.
 
Without looking, or searching, or doing any research whatsoever, I'd guess that the fastest proper hatchback would be the C4 WRC.
 
Try a Honda Civic Type R,they are quite swift.i prefer the 97 version,it seems to handle better than the newer ones,also you can add Race Mods to it for a mere 110,000 creds.
 
There was some euro hatchback, maybe a Renualt with a mid-mounted v6 because it wouldn't fit up front. Bob is driving atm, will edit with info.
 
Lanica Integrale S4 EVO whatever that group B thing with both superchargera and turbocharger, or if the suzuki Pikes peak car is considered a hatchback, which it technically is, it has to be the fastest.

So with 1000+ cars in the game, road car events and race car events on offer, the people who read your original post are supposed to be telepathic and know exactly what you need your car for..??

Also, the fact that some cars can be used for multiple purposes and races I guess is also irrelevant.

Plus, everyday, this forum has requests for cars, from people, for different purposes, and we are supposed to be telepathic and know what race or purpose every individual request is to be used for???

So, even though my questions were designed to try and obtain information that would enable someone on this forum to advise you what car would be best suited for you, you now tell me that these factors matter not.

Mass produced FF?

Probably the JDM spec Civic Type R FD2

If there is no limit other than it has to be a hatch back the go with the Suburu rally car.
 
Probably (as said above) one of the WRC hatches.

Other than that I've been very happy with my (Premium) '97 Civic with race mod. Vaairy nice... but you DO need to get used to handling a FWD with loads of power.

I think it is fairly simple. He gave us two factors. What is the fastest hatchback?

Chill out man, if I needed to specify the specifics I would have mentioned them. Hence why you did not need to be telepathic as my original question is all I required.

That's not a trick question, its rather simple. If the fastest happens to be a tuned up FR vehicle then that is the answer, no reason for you to rant Mr Martin Luther King, I'm sorry if my question confused you.

There's no point descending into arguments over this.

The OP's question is "Which is the fastest hatchback?". He goes on to clarify (ish) by saying any hatch at all.

The best thing might be to go with your gut reaction and name one car... so which car?

I agree with JJ72 here. All we have gleaned is that it's for some kind of competition with a friend.

I'm going to guess it's a race, but the fastest hatchback around Autumn Ring Mini, isn't necessarily the fastest hatchback around SS7 or The Ring.

Give us some more info and the community with give you great answers.

WRC cars are a good choice, as they are designed to be adaptable, so will be useful across a wider range of tracks than a high power, build for top speed Civic R.

There are many different variables as to what the fastest could be, also not everyone views a maxed out car as being the fastest, some people keep their cars standard and will make the decision on standard performance.

Therefore, this might result in a different answer as heavily tuning a car can turn a normal or good car into a world beater, whereas, in standard, unmodified condition, it wouldn't be.

There are so many different levels, you could have been talking about a number of different A spec races, some have limitations - some don't, or you could be talking about online racing.

Like I said, people send in many different requests for different cars, for different purposes, asking a few simple questions to ensure we give the right answer does matter.

Otherwise, you would not be getting ''the fastest'' car for your required specification.

Also, you originally said ''what is the fastest hatchback in the game'', you have now changed your post and added ''nurburgring'', (trying to save face are we?) you could have been talking about a rally car for all I know.

I have provided help to so many people, I don't want thanks or gattitude, all I want is enough information to give a valid and correct answer.

You might have well have said ''how long is a piece of string?''.

I've tried that already, apparently we're supposed to know the fastest car for every person under all circumstances without having the relevant information..

I'm just popping down the shops to buy a crystal ball...

Is there really any sense in practically 'Hi-jacking' someones thread and picking at the question asked by the OP. The question seems straight forward to me, and the OP hasn't replied to nit-picking comments in an offensive or sarcastic manner. Yet you seem to hurl sarcasm and comments that many would find offensive.

I however think it's hilarious how you're telling the OP to get a life, when it seems as though you are the one stressing about the OPs question.
You're last comment..."I haven't even got warmed up yet."... could also be considered as a threat. Which is not normally tolerated by admin.

Still, I wonder if they will be able to give you a warning or suspension BEFORE they die of laughter.

A few cars I would recommend to try are the VW Golf MkIV GTi RM, (some don't like it but it's still pretty quick)
Almost any maxed Honda Integra, or like others have said, Citroen C4 WRC, or similar rally car.
