APPALACHIAN_KRIS got some mad lawn mowin skills. check out his replay if you havent done so already. it looks like hes taking home the 2nd playseat. damn, its gonna be a helluva battle to get the last 3.
Watch out for DR_3wide_skills. He was the #1 US player in forza before he switched to iracing. The kid dominates any game he plays. He just got a PS3/GT5 today, and in 1.5 hours he put up a top 10 time on Tsukuba...1:05.17x.

Me too. Not that I'm any kind of threat to the top. Sure will be fun to watch though. I knew it was just a matter of Time before the uber-fast started showing up. What we need now is some Team LBs! Give us that and we'll see some Mega Epic Battles!
edit: oh yeah, no mower. I live in the city. Gotta really good broom for homeless people camping on my stoop though.

We had a pair of Sears Craftsman lawnmowers when I was a kid. They were POS's, but if you dropped the brake/clutch pedal it could pop a 2" wheelie, so that was sweet as a 10 year old. We got rid of that and got a John Deere - awesome machine. Expensive but so smooth, reliable, and fast (took 20 minutes off total lawn cutting time).

Get used to it, I think the massive migration of freakishly fast Forza racers has begun in full. Just be happy this contest isn't open to the rest of the world where you'd have to contend with the Daveyskills and Backones, among others, of the world.

I've noticed. My remark was partially sarcastic. I'm 4th in the region right now, and it'll be a rough battle for the top 8 spots in the Northeast already, but overall I welcome the competition - if you aren't competing against good players, what's the point?
Your point about the rest of the world is so true - I wouldn't have a chance if PAL or Japan could play along.

Would be very interesting to see how the Forza Gods stack up against the GT Gods in a worlds best of the best shoot out! Might as well throw that crazy fast guy from Iracing in there too just to round it out.💡

I would guess Greger Huttu would win (the crazy fast guy from Iracing). It literally made sim racing news when he just got passed in a race. He is beyond alien.
However, I suppose it depends on which game is being played. GT and Forza don't translate well to iRacing because they are games and iRacing is a much more realistic sim.

Plenty of us Forza guys have already proven that wrong. 3wide and myself hold some of the fastest times in the Mustang FR500S.

I just realized that I wouldn't even know who is playing both games since you use real names in iRacing and a fake username in GT/Forza...
So would you say that you think Forza-gods would be the favorites against iRacing aliens?

I was part of the first 250 to receive Pro licenses from iRacing, and honestly I felt a bit faster in iRacing than I do on GT but I think it has to do with adjusting. I raced with Greger before and he is freakishly fast, but its not even the speed that gets you really its his consistency, even if you were able to pull the same lap it would be hard to do it as consistent as him. Also, he is pretty calm and collected and I have never seen him "act out" like I have seen some of the other top guys from iRacing.
As far as translating, if you are talking about skill I think GT and Forza teach you plenty about how to drive properly and transitioning to iRacing would not be that big of a deal as long as you keep control of the car.

Yeah I thought I might have a chance at this event, but I know how fast all these Forza guys are, and I know how well they will adapt to GT5.

Yes and I chased you a few times Ace. We had a few good races off and on. Haven't been on for a awhile and my money has been sitting there for months lol. Alot of fast guys there and I have been watching to see how many would show for the GT Academy.
