What are your favorite cars that are new to the Gran Turismo series and why?

Mine are Alfa Romeo 4C, Ferrari LaFerrari and Lamborghini Veneno.

All three have design: "check!" for me and the 4C has also performance: "check!", as is the one I have driven of the three, being reminiscent of a Lotus Elise. One of the few medium power MR cars in the game. Very fun at the way you can throw it into corners without losing revs and then some seriously lit replays! Very pretty and competitive.

Then the Ferrari and the Lambo are obviously hypercars with top specs that I can't wait to include to my garage. What Bruce Wayne would drive at day and then as Batman at night.

Saw this video below of the Ferrari 330 with the old Chapparal livery on it ? Sorry... I don’t get why they just didn’t use the more correct model of GT5 & GT6. Especially at 20 million...

My favorite NEW cars are the 330 1st and XJ13 2nd
In all my VR laps the 330 handles better and gives me faster laps, I wish PD gave us the proper GT 40 and not the modern bloated thing. Now I need Le Mans to give them a real comparison

sorry what
I was referring to the Ford GT in the game, about 20% heavier, and about 10% higher/longer/wider than the MKI/MKII GT40.

Being inside the ford gt cruiser in VR is not as wonderful as I imagine it would be inside a MKII GT40 race car in VR

a) you are aware that cars don’t tend to stay the same weight when they’re decades older than the previous gen

b) even with what you said, both the 2005 and 2017 GT’s are some of the lightest cars in their classes

yeh that's why they dropped the '40'. Populations are getting fatter. Even buses and caravans are made to compensate bigger people.
Then you have all todays safety stuff.

For VR I would rather a GT40, so I could compare it to the XJ13/330 P4. Especially when my real body doesn't need to fit in it.

For people playing in TV view, it probably doesn't matter.
