The ever growing duplicate car list...

Missing only 2 mileage cars, all others are here, and when I get duplicate, just sell one I have or discard the one I got if I already got it...

Do we know what the garage car limit is? I'd hate to finally win one of the 20 million cr prize car to only lose it because I didn't have enough room in my garage. I've got a TON of duplicate cars, I'm too lazy to delete them It would be cool if we could trade in cars and get credits or Milage points based on the distance we've put on a car's tachometer. (I know that's not real life, getting more based on how much the car was used but it's just a video game, I don't mind having some videogamey stuff in my video games!)

There shouldn't be a limit on PS4, as I don't recall there was a limit on PS3... PS1 and PS2 games had limit because of memory card usage... but since HDD are main storage now it shouldn't be limiting anything...
I know I have 180+ cars as of now, and don't see any problem

I have 10 Ford Focus ....and 9 in Black. I am keeping all of them hoping that one day PD will allow us to sell them for credits. I don't think that will ever happen.

...it probably won't happen, and BTW how much is it? I doubt you'll get more then 10k per car...

I keep all my dupes of Gr.3 and Gr.4 cars and use different liveries on them so I don't have to keep changing the livery in between races or anything. It's good to keep race cars for that reason.

I think they are like $30k in credits? And yeah you'll get $10k per if you are lucky. I know it won't happen, but I'm too lazy to go delete my 120 duplicates......

I think what should've been done, is that they should've made the prize cars non-random, just like in GT4/5/6, and that the prize car would potentially have a connection to the event you got gold on. It'd reduce the number of duplicates and it'd add some flavor, like winning a basic hatchback for some of the driving school series, or winning a Gr.3 car for completing the Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit experience. And then as more events are added, certain cars could become prize cars. For example, I would've made the prize for the Porsche Cup the 919 race car, and the Gr.4 Audi TT the prize for winning the Tourist Trophy. On a side note, I'd also love to see some race series, in which you obtained points and what-not, both off-line in GT League and online, though for all we know, that could be coming in an update somewhere...

I think winning a prize car in GT6 also let you pick the color as you won it, too, though I'm not 100% sure....

The only way duplicates make any sense is if cars would sustain wear and tear, especially cars driven in Sport Mode. With all the bashing around you’d think there would be something in place to make people take care of their equipment but guess not. Then I wouldn’t have an issue with the duplicate gift cars.

The current economy is akin to risk/reward gambling at a casino except for PD it’s all about the risk. Why bother buying a car if there’s a chance you’ll get it for free. In the meantime I’m hoarding credits because as soon as I buy that 2-3mil car I know I’ll wind up getting it for free anyway.

Meantime I have a stockpile of Mileage points with nothing to do with. How about giving us a discount on the expensive cars with exchanging mileage points. Say 20,000 mileage points for a Cobra at 500,000cr (or something like that)?

Duplicate of road cars get deleted. Duplicates of racecars stay.

I apply a lot of different liveries on them.

I wouldn't count on that. The game often tells me that I need to remove 5 megabytes of (who knows what) in order to save a replay when I have 350 gigabytes on my hard drive unused

It would be cool if we could sacrifice ten gift cars for another spin that would guarantee no duplicates . Yes I said ten , eventually your going to have 2-3 expensive cars remaining
