I'm going to have to say SSR5 (of course), because barring the lack of bumps it is the best combination of corner types, straight distance and overall distance to suit my liking.

I like SSR5 best, closely followed by Trial Mountain.

I dunno, I always seem to do well at SSR5; ever since the 'Ring appeared in GT4, there just seems to be less use for The Mountain. I still like it, though.

people are asking about midfield, wasnt that in gt2 but not gt1? personally i prefer Grand Valley or the original tracks but my all time favourite is Pikes Peak, it was legendary

My vote was for Grand Valley East. I think it is a better track than the long version. It reminds me of quick little club circuits like Knockhill in the Uk or Amaroo in Australia.

For some reason I have never liked Deep Forest or Trial Mountain

cheers

i remeber driving on deep forset in gt2 and i loved it so much it was the one that went up the hill throught the trees right?

yea i think so, with the 180 degree arc as the first bend before the small hill (a few tracks go up hill under trees e.g. trial mountains back straight)

It was a hard vote between grand valley east (the big one) and Trial mountain, but TM won; it was the first track I raced in GT1.

I really like those circuits with a lot of vegetation, great landscape and tricky corners, and Trial mountain has them all! Its also one of the tracks that never changed a lot from GT1 till GT4; it still has the ''GT feeling''.

Trial mountain is great, but It could be a bit longer. :)

I aboslutely love Mid Field. Where's that on your list? Anyway... it's a short track that has a very balanced mix of different turns. I tune my cars there. I've run it countless of times in tuning my cars there.

It's all about the Grand Valley Speedway. That is the überest of the original circuits. Fact. ;)

Honestly, it's hard to really say which I like most, because each track has its own appeal...

Toss up between Trial Mountain and Grand Valley Full, but Trial Mountain just edges it.

Deep Forest does little for me in GT, but it's a different beast in Tourist Trophy. All the indulations can really catch you out.

Just to make things clear: Midfield was not in GT1
High Speed Ring was not in GT3

What about Autumn Ring though, hasn't that been in all of them?

I went with Trial Mountain, even though it's close between Trial Mountain, Grand Valley Speedway and Deep Forest, and if one were to ask the same question next month my answer could well be one of the other two. At one time SSR5 was my favorite.

Original tracks I like that aren't in all four games, in no particular order:
El Capitan
Autumn Ring
Autumn Ring Mini
SSR11 (the GT1 version, not that wussified thing by the same name in GT3)
Rome and Rome Night

I agree, that R11 track in GT3 was rubbish, GT1 version was the best.
I love Midfield, I consider it to be an original, although it was not in all of the games. But from the polls, I chose Trial Mountain, a very good track.
