I find the same issue in GT4. There are times (in replay mode) when I can easily see the disc glowing after a few corners. And on different occasion on the same track with the same car, the brake doesn't seem to glow at all. You might want to check at different and several occasion and see if it's consistently not glowing. After reading what you said regarding watching F1 race in person, I can't wait to see mine soon. I'm close enough to Montreal that I might make it to the race next June.

It only took about 3 laps before the brakes started to glow in Abu dhabi gp

Although in GT5 right now it doesn't glow at all which is a pity

It probably does, but it is not easy to see. Especially on the F10, and it's wheel nuts.

Actually on the F10 you can still see the glow on the front wheel but the middle of it was covered :( but you could still see the glow but not on the middle of the front wheel which is a pity too!

It's just the sides of the front wheel but still has glow :)

Its not hard to see if you were up close live but then again you could only see the sides glowing the middle chunk is the only cover

But overall it's very visible and easy to see if you are up close live

The picture shown you can see it if you look closer but that picture shot wasn't taken on a good angle

Do guys know which F1 car in the game is the best? Handling and speed wise? Couldnt find a answer in other threads. Srry for the off topic question:tup:

The brakes glow in F1 2010

F1 2010 - Brake Glow Video

Regardless, I'd rather see GT5 model brake fade before they focus on what is purely aesthetic brake glow without brake fade.

The problem is carbon fiber brakes never fade no matter how much punishment it gets :) being specific on F1

An f1 car can do 200-0 in 2.8 seconds

Although I do know steel brakes fade a lot when punished too long

I'm very disappointed that the front wings do not flex a .062 of an inch. How dare them not include that either.

Both the front wing and back wing actually but I think that's part of the aerodynamics set up
And that's okay with me aerodynamics as those :)

For sure if GT5 only had all the F1 racing cars in it.

F1 2010 code masters is a pity they do not have enough simulation experience to be in charge of the FIA approved F1 2010 game.

GT5 is a more reputable racing simulator and is better in every aspect.

Code masters has like a year or so of racing simulation development

GT has more than a decade of experience.

Code Masters is a pure pity!
