I did it with the F430 scuderia fully tuned with comfort soft tires, took me around 10 attempts to get gold

Got 6,694 on my 5th attempt with a completely stock 365GTB/4 (I absolutely love this beauty) on CM tires and using a DS3.
Yes, I know it's a crap score, but I was never good at drifting.
Pretty much just said "🤬 it" and threw on some CM tires and hit the track.

I had half an hour before work earlier & attempted a tune. Achieved gold after around 4 attempts including scoring zero on one section. I don't really know how to tune well but this worked.

Which tyres?

I hate drifts but appreciate the fact I am challenging myself. Normally takes me a good (frustrating at times) hour to gold.

This trial however, I did it on the very first run!!! Very pleased with it, even if it was poor compared to the top scores!

This one wasn't too hard to do. I chose a 512BB for it, and easily got a score of OVER 9000 with my only tuning being changing the tires to comfort hard.

I really hate that every single setup is with that stupid camber that makes the cars look like s:censored:t. I mean, i tend to add some camber to my cars too, but the "standard" setup is 10 degree camber all around, and springs/shocks that would make a solid 10-inch I-beam feel soft ;) I refuse doing that, and I can still get to the top 100's. If I could just get a clean run with my "section highscores" in one single run, I would get up to at least top 40's-50's.

But I just can't get that consistent :indiff: For example, my scores in the first section is between 1100-4100, but mostly around 2500-3200...and of course, when I do nail the first section, I f:censored:k up in another one :banghead: The word frustrated is not even close to describe the feeling :banghead:

...
ENJOY!!!

Just wanted to say thanks for this tune. I set it up as you suggested, I'm no drifter and on my out lap, having gone off into the dirt on the first corner, I still got gold by a sizeable margin. Cheers

Thanks to GR_DRIFTER for the tune got me my first ever gold in a drift event, will have to practice some more to get higher than 12???th place, but wow did enjoy that now for the other one.

This was one of the easier events to get gold in recent memory, I used a Dino Ferrari 246 GT I bought recently(!!)

I put in all upgrades and comfort hard tires. I zeroed out the stock suspension's camber setting, put spring rate at 5.75 both ends, dropped ride height to 90 on both ends and kept everything else default.

Amusing driving dynamics and I reigned in 7,697 points within a few tries. Highly recommended for drifting newbies who don't want to waste massive amounts of in-game credits on a car for one event.

wow, just shows me again how bad I am @ drifting :D

... 100km with wheel before bronze
... 2 tries with pad.. annoying...

Decided last minute to go with the F430 instead of 599, still not sure that was the right decision. But I got 18,897 in the end. It was not easy tho, the point system really is messed up.

Used my own tune.
