You know that weird thread by amar? Maybe this is what he's been talking about! But i must admit it doesn't look 100% GT-ish. I think the thick black lines are more like Forza. Which would be very disappointing. I hope it's GT!!!

I wouldn't have thought a couple new Ferrari's as such "huge" news he was hinting at. Maybe if it was the announcement of Ferrari in GT, but seeing as that happened a few years ago now.....

No you are wrong. All of the cars shown except two(the F430 Syder, and the Califonia) are already in Forza 2 and they look better these.

I thought Rome Circuit comeback! :D

Found the video on youtube so I could pause and compare

I paused it and compared the models to the ones that are in GT5P and I am suprised I ever considered them to be possible GT5 models, they are way off the quality.

I am wondering though, maybe they are models from the soon upcoming Test Drive unlimited 2 (they look quite TDU to me) or Forza 3 (less likely IMO)? I know they could be modelled independantly for Ferrari but it just seems a waste to remodel the cars when there is so many games doing that already, plus we have seen them do it with the GT5P and California before.

Me 2 i guess i got to excited

The lighting and especially the camera work do not feel like GT5P. It is more Forza-ish or PGR-ish, but my opinion is that even the lighting car modeling in Forza and PGR are more sophisticated than those in that video.

I don't think it has anything to do with GT5 or GT5P. Let's not focus on the details of the video, but the contents of it. Beside the the F430 Scuderia and F430 Spider, all the cars in that video are already in GT5P. Including these 2 cars would definitely make people happy, but it's not really that big a deal to justify making such video to tease people about it. So what's left in the video is the location... Rome? I don't see what Rome has to do with Ferrari, except that they are both Italian's. And the details of the background look so dry in the video that it doesn't feel like Rome is the main focus... at least not in this video.

It is more likely the video has to do with a new Ferrari game or another racing game with Ferrari cars. TDU2? Sounds good, and the level of details of that video does match TDU's.

That's Ferrai Project, a new racing game... you will see

Ferrari Project was a in development PS3 game by Bilmey! Games (they are the people who created GTR , GTR2, and GT Legend). However, the team was bought by EA (:ouch:) and the team is now instead making a need for speed game... It is call Need for Speed: Shift, and it is supposed to be a sim-racing game. At least that's what EA said. The game looks very Grid-ish. It is unknown whether the Ferrari Project will still be developed. But early screen shots of that game suggest that it looks much better than the above video.

you never really know... it could be Ferrari project or GT5 or PGR or some universal thing for all of them... hell it just might be some small webapp which ferrari is putting on their website... it might not have to do anything with games. maybe a build-your-own ferrari configurator for everyone (not just owners)... whatever it is, i'm excited.

Beside the the F430 Scuderia and F430 Spider, all the cars in that video are already in GT5P.

Except the 612 Scag, and colour combos are a little different.

I'm still sticking with my opinion of a PGR game. The camera angles and the background and all that, it seems like the garages in PGR4.

Anyone checkout the new website?

There is a 70 odd mb 'Virtual test drive' game to download, looks like thats where the models came from

A pic I made (Downscaled)

(testing damage)

Something I find odd is KY previously said Ferrari doesnt even want their mirror scratched but in this test drive you can even rip the wheels off (though the car warps back on the track and the wheels reappears)

The models are clearly not upto PD's standards, same with physics.

It's not bad for free, but it's something you will do a couple races and not feel compelled to play again.

Great for 70mb's.

IT'S FREE

Come on guys, this isn't all that bad for something they are giving away for free. It's either this or some other piece of rubbish someone made and posted on their own website.

I'd know which one I'd go for.
