I'm finding FFB not very good with G27, not as good as GT5. I remember trying out the T500RS on first few builds of GT6 shown to public and it felt much better so hopefully they can improve G27 support in the game as I know it can have more FFB effects than is being used. I remember DFGT had awesome feedback in GT games so they look like they concentrate on their wheels first.
Let's just be patient and hope PD adreses this issues like they did several times in GT5

It's bit odd to pay 75€ for a game and after you get it to home you start your BetaTesting-Career on it, start complaining to some third party forum and praying at game will be fixed someday at you can start your A-player-Career on it. Maybe on next summer game is working, or there will be announcement from PD at they are not supporting it anymore 'coz making GT7Beta for PS4.

Back to OP, Can't be sure at there was bigger changes on G27 FFB after release of this beta, tire locking FFB might have reduced, not sure, have to go some bumpy small car to test it.
Someone saying at there is weird FFB on U-turns, maybe just speaking tire lockup FFB? I like how GT6 is giving FFB from tires and suspension, a lot better than GT5.

Erm, maybe because the VERY FIRST sentence of the OP ends like this ", and therefor the Logitech G27 itself most likely as well" which is why others a responding about the fact that it's not an issue found in the G27? I mean, I am no english major but, I am almost exactly, positively certain that that sentence ties in more then just the Fanatec wheel. Any other mention that I can find of a wheel is pretty much that the "simulation" setting isn't for the fanatec wheel, but the DFGT and old wheels, which is true as well.

Those settings (sim-pro-beg) are only for pre-900degres wheels > 270/180degrees> not DFGT!
That's why some wheels are greyed out when using this option > also on the bottom of the screen there's describtion rolling to what wheels this only aply.

I have no road feel at all. No curbs, bumps and worst of all no loss of grip through the wheel. I have a GT2 which is really the same as a Fanatec Forza wheel which I have read is working fine. In game: FF 3, pro mode, no assist. Wheel: FF 100, 900 deg. Any suggestions ?

I have CSRE too! What settings do u use in game and wheel?
Nothing special really
Sen off
FF 100
Sho 50
ABS 70

everything else off or 0

In game
ffb 5
simulation steering ON
Power Steering OFF
ASM OFF
Active Steering OFF

If i keep wheel FF at 100 the wheel is very heavy i think i'll pull a muscle.. Is that natural ir is there sth wrong with it? I currently use FF60 wheel and in game 3 ! Anything more and it's too heave :((

It is best to keep the wheel at 100 and yes the FFB is strong, if to strong for you then either set the in game FFB lower or maybe try turning on power steering

Idk why the GT2 wheel wouldn't work it is almost identical. Try putting the force feedback up to 5. For me there was a big drop off in FFB from 5 to 4. And then put drift mode to 3. The steering will feel heavier, but you'll really be able to feel the FFB, and imo it is more realistic for road cars. Also put SEN to off.

My settings for my CSR is 5 FFB in game, 80 on the wheel (100 - 70 there isn't much of a difference just fine tuning), Drft 3, Sensitivity off, everything else is 0 or off.

I did try flashing the firmware. Went back to 681. Made the wheel very heavy and drift mode has less of an effect. I will try Sen to off though. Thx.

Simulation mode DOES NOTHING on DFGT. It's not higlighted when you select this option, and apart that, I tested yesterday with and without it, and the wheel felt the exact way in both modes. Simulation is only for older logitech wheels.

CSW sucks in GT6 IMO.

Going back to V32 did bring back the roadfeel like curbs but absolutely no understeer feeling noticable.

Just upgraded the firmware on my 911 turbo s,the FFB now feels absolutely amazing.

Ohh yeah,i'm using firmware version 756.

Pretty sure that the abs and sho vibrations cannot run at the same time. Regardless, if you only have Elite pedals I don't think that abs will be doing anything anyway. Otherwise it's one or the other.

I use a DFGT but I still have a 'dead FFB' feeling and lack of cerb rumble in the steering wheel despite using racing suspension which usually makes this rumble in the FFB more pronounced.

If you go under FFB5 you loose most of road and curb feels, 5 and above are giving that feedback, prefer 6 or higher on FFB.

I use the Club Sport pedals. Setting the ABS to 70 gives me some feedback in the pedal when I apply 70% or more brake pressure.

Near as I can remember the SHO was turned down so that the wheel did not vibrate so much when flooring the throttle but now that you mention it I do not think I have tried any other setting on the SHO in GT6. I did in GT5 and it did not seem to matter.

Anyway I use the ABS 70 and Sho 60 in Forza as well and they both work just fine, feedback in pedal when braking hard just before wheel lock and vibration in wheel under certain conditions from the SHO. I wish GT used the vibration motors as well but ...

Neither Forza or GT or any game is using that vibration motor, it is only that setting what you alter on wheel setup, and its vibrating that even you don't have game running, just pressing brake and it starts vibrating, like you're now using 70% brake force to start vibrating, prefer to use 66 (+/- 1) on there and it goes closer to lock point, but on GT6 you must remember to alter that vibra point to match on car brake sensitivity/bias. Nice standalone bonus on wheel.

I have it on the default setting which is 5 if I recall correctly.

What? That is not the case. The vibration motors are active in Forza in many situations, driving over a rumble strip for example and the SHO setting determines how much vibration you get. On the PS3 [GT5] the vibration only engaged when the throttle is pressed. I read this was the behavior on the PS3 and not just GT5 but as I said I have not tried it to see if it is still that way in GT6 I just assumed it was.

Both setting do must definitely work in Forza though

BTW in case there was some confusion the Vibration motors that the SHO control are in the Wheel the ABS vibration is in the pedal

Man, anything about 4 in FF is so strong on my wheel. Turning it down on the wheel makes it feel sluggish to return to center. I tried 756 with shock and FF off and went back to 681. On 756 the drift mode (which is a must) looses a lot of its effect. On 756 drift mode on 5 feels like 2-3 on 681. Also, 756 moves all of the buttons around when the wheel is in pc mode therefore loosing it's xbox 360 standard button assignment. Arrrgghhh ! Thx for all of the suggestions. I will continue to fiddle with it. In every game, pc, xbox 360 or ps3 I notice I have to run lower FF settings than the rest or the wheel is way to strong and unrealistic. I have a truck with the power steering pump failed as a back up vehicle and it is as hard to turn as it is. No wonder the gt2 motor is starting to whine. I think the thing has been overpowered or something from the get go.

ON another note. Has anyone else noticed that when you race on snow or dirt the FF is WAY stronger. I feel every bump and vibration when I play single player and selcted eiger or any of the off road courses. I think this is how is is supposed to be in the standard races. Bug ?

FW 681 supposedly runs a significantly higher current than the more recent firmwares.
