Do we know what the weather will entail @Silverstone for race #2 yet, by any chance?

Asking to see how to set er up following the GV practice sessions tonight .

Also, if any of you fellas across the pond are staying up late tonight, we'd LOVE to see you in the room.

Room will open in 'Open Lobby' in approximately 45 minutes and first practice race in about an hour and 45 minutes, if anyone's interested.

I was in a rush to get home and make room, so didn't check on it for most of the day.
Actually, what I really wanted to do was to check on the weather for that day online today, but crazy day, no time.

Yup, yup I remember the conversation like it was 5 minutes ago for sure. That was when I was telling you that I simulated roughly 30-40 mins of those very same settings but the only thing that was different, was that I had 'Weather at race start' set to 50%. It accumulated to 25% first 5 mins for about 6,7 mins then to damp for 15 mins, then back up but to 30% surface for roughly 10 mins then back down.
I am going to experiment with this very same setting tomorrow and see just how consistent it is.

I will say though, that when I said to Beau earlier that "we're in the same boat." I meant it like, him and I are unfortunately both be missing the race, not if I was confused to do the Qualifier/TT .

I'm going to get 2 attempts in tonight before/after GTTCC. I have a feeling a bronze guy could get in as other silver guys won't do the event.

I haven't posted any yet, because I'd make a mockery of my myself at this time ... I'm trying though. Even as we're speaking, I'm in a room by myself and it's almost 4 am lol.
It really looked dreary for me at first, but now suddenly, the improvements are getting bigger every day for the past 3 days. Been doing this track since GT1 but for some reason, I've barely ever done it in reverse over the years, so alot of it has to do with getting used to the track on top of everything else that goes along with setting up this crazy whore of a car for any track.... It's getting there.

The TT/Qualy during the week is such a good idea m8. Even if someone is unable to make it to the race, this is exciting in itself . Take me for example .

Like you, I will do two of them inside the next day-day and a half, but I wanna perhaps save 1 for either, Friday or, even Saturday morning.
I figure, I'll have something to look forward to and open a room, because with 1 more session left, it becomes even more meaningful and a goal to look forward to .

What?! Roundabouts are so much more efficient than crossroads, just most people over here are too dumb to understand the rules properly. Same reason there are so many idiots who sit in the fast lane at 60mph on motorways.

Exactly. It's a better system, yet driving licences are given out in Corn flake boxes over here. They just don't work well due to people not being able to drive or use common sense.

It makes driving past a junction very scary. When you're in an old classic car that's been restored and they drive out at stupid moments you just have to slap your head. The funny thing is, cars these days are so flimsy compared to the metal shells of old. If we hit them, we'll be fine, they wont

I think we should adopt the jaywalking law here though.

^^ This is one of my biggest pet peeves in life. Not sure if it were always like that in the U.K., but in N.Y., slow left laners has gotten progressively worst over the last few years. Also, without exaggeration, 9 out of 10 morons who do that speed up as soon as they see me going around . This has gotten so out of hand latey, that now I will intentional cut them off by a hair lol .

They almost always blame (highway,freeway, expressway, motorway, speedway) accidents on "excess speed", but in reality it's because of bad driving etiquette.

I remember there was a time that used to have signs posted saying something like "Please use left lane for passing" or something like it, but on this overly politically correct world, they wouldn't dare anymore .

Actually, was just talking about this w @Rvgracer and he sent me. a website dedicated to it .

But the outside lane is for overtaking only. Why people can't follow that is beyond me.

When people pull out of a junction in front of you, but don't accelerate and crawl along. Even when theres space behind you. That's what gets me the most

So I had not much time this week to practise, I put on ABS because I thought it would help me to asure my place on lobby A. I did 1 25 0 with full tank and 1 24 7 with 75 litres more or less. I did all 3 qualys and did a final 1 24 6, but with two horsepowers less due to the oil. As I wanted to race without ABS on saturday, today I started practising without it and I did 1 24 7 on my very first lap. Since I started driving with steering wheel I´ve driven this car without ABS but now I just felt I needed to use it, and now I suffered the consequences, I think I could´ve qualify with a 1 24 3.

So, what have we learnt today? Using ABS doesn´t mean being faster, at least with FGT. And don´t do drugs kids

I use in Cockpit Mode for the FGT and for every car for that matter.

I'm thinking about share my tune for people dont have the time or dont know how tunes the FGT.
I'm out of the series and this can be my little contribution, like my post or tell me in private message if you are interest.

edit: I have tune the fgt for the first 2 round, tuned for good tire wear in priority.
