Hey guys, I haven't really been paying attention to gt6 but I saw most of the votes for this series are for Monday. If this is the official day I won't be able to race unless class is cancelled for some reason.

I can test regs though. Are the ones on the op correct?

Cant commit to this series but if you've got spaces on the grid for tonights final testing then I could race with you guys, would just need to know what car you'd like me to use and, I understand room opens at 7pm, just what time is lights out?

Race starts at 7 qualy around 15 mins earlier. You are welcome to signup even if you can't race all weeks, i think it's just rx7 or garaiya the choice amongst cars.. Maybe a lexus too after harsk the second quitted.

Sorry guys, couldn't make tonight as I had another job to do after work.

I have a question about the time for this race, there's 19 people who voted and not even 50% of that number turn up, shouldn't it be voted for by the signups?

baaaad baaad baaad feelings... in 2 seasons we never had around 4 second per lap gaps between drivers... nor minutes gaps at the end of racelike today.

I'm unsure why it is so, i guess it's Racing Hards making such impossibly huge gap between drivers, showing where the real skills lie. or maybe the faster guys rock the road :D

Again my apologies for leaving room i never ever did that before in all the season and trainings, but i had no chance to get close to anyone after the crash, and lost concentration and will to go on.

I really hope things will be more close else the races will be boring, and i hope the success penalty will be as useful as last season >_>

I think in the first race there could indeed be a large gap if this trend continues... but, as soon as that success penalty kicks in, things will soon even themselves out. There's simply no way a driver who has a -30BHP penalty will be able to perform at the same level as he/she would without it. Absolutely not. -30BHP is effectively a 10% reduction in power, this is similar to the power lost as a result of dirty oil - it's just not possible to get the car to go as quick with that sort of power loss.

Keep the faith, Karsten :D

well probably the more skillful guys can handle the hard tyres better than the not so skillful guys, that sort of makes sense - also i think if it were possible - instead of just taking power from the fast guys, you should maybe take less powere from he first 3 and add more power to the 3 at the back, that way it wont hinder the better drivers so much and will close the whole firld up a bit more ?

there's promotion of performance that might kick in for the first time

Today's race was a little slower, pace-wise, but I managed to squeeze into the late 2:04's on one or two occasions. The BRZ I was driving is currently at 325bhp.
Ok thanks, I'm just getting back into gt6 and didn't know where my pace was.

I've been messing around with some of the cars and I really wish I could do this season. The racing is great with the hard tires.

race started with 8 i think or maybe 9

Did some laps round Fuji last night with @Gavin Vickers. Was just about manging to keep up with him. He was lapping in the low 1.44s. Think I did manage a 1.44.0xx on my last lap of a 5 lap race we had. Will be checking the replay out tonight. I must say I'm enjoying this track much more than the Nurburgring. That might change if people start doing laps in the 1.40s!

Started with 8 then i quit first then gaz .

I left after that not sure who else left .

Shame i left , the race i left was postponed . Qualied 5th , showed my lack of practice I guess but the lexus is real quick off the line .

Got up to 3rd and eventually 2nd , had chances for 1st but I had a sticky brake issue and once i closed the gap id lose 1 sec or 2 from the brake issue .

Was interesting that the rx7 guys seemed quick on the first laps then they seemed to slow a bit .

Who won the race ?

With the time limit style of racing instead of total laps it requires a different strategy .

I find it interesting , you might see a lot more longer runs now .
